Taylor was awoken by an evil beast sounding off its vicious roar- or at least that's what she thinks of her alarm clock. Taylor struggled to get up, and followed with several failed attempts as well. Finally, she literally rolled out of bed, landing on the floor with a thump and a groan.
"Time to get up, Taylor," her mother said when passing by the door. Then she backed to where she could see in the doorway.
"What are you doing on the floor?"
"I'm awake," Taylor muffled, still half-asleep.
"You haven't even turned your alarm off yet!" Her mom said, silencing the beast.
"Okay..." Taylor groaned as she pushed herself up off he ground.
Taylor got dressed, barely done eating when it was time to go.
