There was a man and a woman down at the other end of the alley. The man picked up the woman by her neck and shoved her against the wall. In the other hand of the man, she saw a knife. The man grabbed the knife, and slit the woman's throat. He dropped the woman and noticed Taylor.
She broke into a sprint, almost tripping. Taylor fled from her attacker, running down the alley. She looked back to see the pursuer gaining on her. She looked to the direction she was heading and the figure appeared in front of her. She skid to a stop and tried to turn around, but the tall, dark figure grabbed her by the neck and slammed her against the wall. He leaned in close to her and whispered " I killed Loretta Johnson," then grabbed his knife and thrust it toward her.
Right before the knife touched her eye, everything froze, then blew away like dust.
