In an abandoned underground building, Hydra agents were fixing the Soldiers metal arm as the flashback began.

"Sergeant Barnes." Zola's voice rang through, looking down on someone

"Bucky no!" Past Steve yelled as he watched his best friend fall from the train. His screams echoed his in his mind.

"The procedure has started."

Images of bloody snow and a severed arm appeared in his mind. Doctors surrounding him holding onto scissors and needles.

The image changed and two arms were in view, one a shiny silver and the other flesh. The Vibranium came up and began to choke a doctor before another stabbed him with a sedative.

"You are the new fist of Hydra."

"Put him on ice." His face appeared and his metal hand reached up, only fore his whole body to become frozen.

A woman who was no older than eighteen appeared before his eyes. She had no clothes on but all he could see was her bright green eyes, her smile and laugh.

"You know if they find out, they'll would hurt us." She spoke.

"Let them." He whispered staring into her eyes. He could feel his finger tips brush against her bare skin.

He didn't even notice the guns that were pointed at him until someone slapped him back into reality.

"That man and woman one the bridge..." His mind flashed to Steve saying his name and looking into the woman's green eyes. "Who were they?" He said, broke.

"You met him earlier this week on another assignment. And her you met five years ago." Pierce answered.

"I knew them." Bucky explained. Pierce grabbed a chair and sat in front of him as he spoke.

"Your work has been a gift to mankind. You shaped the century, and I need you to do it one more time. Society is at a tipping point between order and chaos. Tomorrow morning we're gonna give it a push. But, if you don't do your part, I can't do mine, and Hydra can't give the world the freedom it deserves."

"But I knew them." He insisted, swallowing hard. Pierce sighed and got up, turning to one of the scientists.

"Prep him." He told them.

"He's been out of cryo-freeze too long." The lead scientist pointed out.

"Then wipe him and start over." Pierce ordered.

They forced him back into the chair as they placed a mouth guard in front of his face and placed it into his mouth. The straps on the chair held him in place and the machine began to wipe his brain, his screams of pain echoed the whole room.

I was sat next to Nat on the bed, while Steve and Sam were standing. We were all talking to Fury about taking down Hydra.

"This man declined the Noble Peace prize. He said, 'peace wasn't an achievement, it was a responsibility.' See, it's stuff like this that gives me trust issues." He spoke up.

"We have to stop that launch." Nat commented.

"I don't think the Council's accepting my calls anymore." He opened up a box to revel three electrical chips, secretly making my tech side excited.

"What's that?" Sam quizzed.

"Once the Helicarriers reach three thousand feet, they'll triangulate with Insight satellites becoming fully weaponized." Hill said, spinning the computer to show us.
