Chapter 8 - Saving James

*Trigger warning, A breakdown and a little self harm (don't know if that counts as trigger but just wanted to add it) if you are sensitive of this part just skip the flash back*

(Lilliana's POV)
(1 day later at night)

God only 8 more hours till morning, I promise, I will save you James.

I knew James would probably not like that I am doing this, but I got to save him.

(Flashback to last night at 3am)

I was on my bed cuddled up in a ball. I miss him, it's all my fault. I can't let anything happen to James.

I started tearing up that lead to me crying which lead to me having a breakdown.

Why wasn't I in his place? What did he do to deserve this? Are they hurting him? Is he okay? Did they feed him? Did they give him water? Am I responsible for this? Is this my fault? Is he angry at me? Does he not like me anymore?

Questions flooded through my head.

I started crying harder and harder.

I am not being dramatic, I just don't know what's James going through nor the pain he was going through.

I banged my head to the bed frame, wanting this nightmare to be over.

I just wanted to be in James's arms, laughing, cuddling with him

I cried myself to sleep.

(End of Flashback)

I was sitting on James's bed and a few tears had escaped my eyes, I was missing him alot I know it just come out as me being dramatic but I still wanted to cry when I saw a picture of James and I on his nightstand.

I decided to leave James's room so I don't start crying again.

I went to my room but became more sad, when I saw his hoodie on my bed that he gave me to calm me down when I found out that I had a family of darks. My eyes went to my bedside table to just sheaded a few more tears when I saw a picture of him and I and a picture of our dance team in which me and him were hugging in the front of the photo.

This is it I have to go and save him right now. I seriously don't care about Philips stupid rules, I even forgot that they exist.
All I care about right now is James, and ain't no one gonna stop me from saving him.

"Coral, Can you track James's bracelet please" I asked Coral. Thank god Coral exists she makes life easy.

"Sure, It seems like bracelet is turned off" Said Coral. Shoot, They knew I will track him so they turned it off and how do you turn it off in the first place.

"Can you track where a call was at a specific time" I asked, hoping to track Philips phone call.

"Yes I can, is there any call you want to track" Asked Coral.

"Yep, it was the latest call from Philips" I said.

Ok just breathe, you will get James, Lilliana.

"It seems it came from Dark's base prison or in other words their basement, they so hard to be perfect when they aren't" Said Coral. Damn, This girl is spitting straight up facts, off topic Lilliana, ok so dark base basement is where James is at.

"Can you teleport me there" I Asked, hoping I would just rescue you right now.

"Umm sure, but do you want to inform anyone Lilliana, like Tracey or any of the Elements, it's not safe to go there alone" Asked Coral. I know you care about me but nope.

"No, I would be good thanks for asking tho" I said hoping that my voice didn't break.

"Ok, if you need any help just let me know" Said Coral.

(At Dark's base basement)

I immediately found James, He was tied to a chair, he had a few bruises but what caught my eye was a cut on his cheek. He looked at me.

"Lilliana" He asked.

"Don't worry I am here, let's go home and get you patched up" I told him. He nodded as I went to him.

"I thought you were coming in a few hours" He whispered to me.

"I couldn't wait any longer" I told him as I untie him and bring him back.

(At the base)

"Are you okay" I asked him as I patch him up.

"Yeah" Said James softly. He flinched a little when I patched him up.

"I think we should tell the others" Said James.

"Ok, but can you say all of it alone I just don't want the family drama again" I asked.

"Yeah I sure can babe" Said James.

"But for now let's get some sleep" Said James. I nodded.

(Ok in the start I was heading for a different chapter but I thought just wanted to change things up a bit. El you know what I am talking about)
