Eternity is a long time without love
Chapter 1
I looked down the dark, deserted alleyway all I could hear was the sound of car horns and the angry drivers screaming at the car in fount, on the main road. The alley smelt of alcohol and vomit, as this is where many drunks decide to spend their nights. There was trash scattered along the ground, as if someone was searching for something through the rotten left overs, empty bottles and broken cutlery.
I on the other hand was waiting for my next meal. All of a sudden an uncoordinated teenager stumbled out of the bar. He looked to be 18 and disoriented, he looked straight at me and smirked.
"Hey there, it's a bit late for a good looking lady like you to be walking around an alley, alone" he slurred putting emphasis on the word alone. I just smiled and walked closer to him.
"Maybe I might need some company then" I said smiling a flirtatious smile while swaying my hips. He stumbled closer I knew he was close now, I could smell the strong scent of alcohol in his breath.
Now that I've got a better view of him his sort of cute with his dark brown hair swept to one side and his bright blue that were glazed over. He leaned in only looking at my lips with lust clear in his eyes. Our lips connected he started kissing me harder, wanting more. He couldn't tell I wasn't kissing back, he was dazed. He broke for a second needing air. I took this as my opportunity and started kissing down his jaw line until I got to the nape of his neck.
I brushed my fangs over his skin. I could smell the fresh blood pumping through his veins. It smelt sweat and inviting I couldn't control myself any longer. I bit down into his flesh easily and I could taste the sweat blood pour into my mouth. It had a bitter taste from the alcohol but I was used to it.
To soon his veins turned dry and his body went limp. I quickly discarded the body into a nearby trashcan and started my way home.
It was a lot later than I expected it was now 5pm, I could see the sky going a beautiful pinkly orange. Oh how I miss sitting under the sun having picnics and enjoying the light that it brought.
I had to hurry, the sun was coming up and I didn't want to be caught in its rays. I was only a couple of blocks away from my house, so I started running. The sun was coming up fast; I started panicking I wasn't going to make it I'll just have to run to the woods they'll keep me safe from the sun for now. I could feel the sun's rays hot on my heels; I could see the woods in the distance. My legs were starting to hurt, but I still pushed on. I was almost there, almost in the safety of the trees. When all of a sudden I was grabbed roughly and dragged into a nearby alleyway protecting me from the sun. I looked at the back of my legs they were singed red and black.
I turned around to be face to face with Derek Smith. I let out a low growl and wretched my arm out of his grasp.
"Julie, I expected better from you" he smirked "you were almost turned to ash"
"Like you care, you'll only be sad you can't get someone to do your dirty work." I growled at him and moved further away.
"Do you really think that's why I saved you" he said wrapping his arms around me. I broke away from his arms.
"YOU DIDN'T SAVE ME YOU RUINED MY LIFE" I yelled at him "I HATE YOU"
He chuckled and shook his head "Oh that's what you think now but you'll come around and realise I did the right thing."
"THAT'S A LOAD OF BULLCRAP" I screamed this time, I could hear the people getting up from there peaceful slumber to hear what all the noise is about.
I just walked of through the shadows trying to find a way to my house without going into the sunlight, but it was impossible there was no way out of this alleyway without attempting a suicide mission.
I huffed irritated if Derek didn't interfere I would be in the wood and able to go somewhere but he just couldn't help himself. I guess I have to wait today out here. I huffed, plopped down on the ground and got my iPod out and put my ear buds in my ears and let the music send me to sleep.

I haven't decided where this story's going to go but I guess that's the fun part.
