Psa : Baji never left the toman !

« Baji wait up !! » I said running to the 8 year old black hair boy.
i catch my breath once I arrived next to him.
he smiled at me and let out a breathy laugh.
My 8 year old self just pout and start running earning a shout from baji asking where I was going.
I looked behind me still but running until my feet tangled making me fall in the process. « wako-chan !!!!! »
I heard baji shouted from behind me asking if I was fine.
« Y-yeah I'm f-fine » I said with a teary smile.

of course he knew I wasn't fine by the way I was shaking.
« Jump on my back » he said. I was confused but I jump anyway.

I blushed at the realisation that we were so close. « YOU ARE HEAVY » he sarcastically shout.
I complains but we end up laughing before arriving at my house. He dropped me in front of my porch.
Before he walk away I took him by the arm and kiss him on the cheek « thank you for the piggyback » I said before running inside with a visible blush on my face.

the boy's hard blush was seen on his face when he turned around to walk back home.

8yo baji pov :

'She kissed me? No no stop thinking about her. It's not even important'
I thinked while heading home.

neutral POV :

8 years old childish behaviour right ?

{ the next day }

Baji and sawako walked side by side to school while eating some watermelon chewing gum.
« hey still have some ? » ask the young girl while spitting out the tasteless chewing gum.

the boy juste smiled and gave two of them to the girl, thinking of last night.
the girl asked him why he was smiling, he just smiled.

{ end of flashback + 6 months before the text }

« I'm not ok with this »
said baji to the tomanpresident.
the blond president just smiled at his antiques and approached him « listen, I think she is more than qualified—»
Before mikey could finish his sentence, the black hair male interrupted him by saying
« I knew her all my life and of course, she his capable of handling being the member of a gang... but if something happened to her I will never forgive me »
« She won't get hurt, we are a family, we protect each other and we will protect her » Mikey said with a still not convinced baji in front of him. they split up and went back to their houses leaving the small alley.

Baji thought about what mikey said but he wasn't convinced that it was a good idea
'she is small and weak' he thought

Sawako pov :

I was at baji's house waiting for him to come back from his meeting with mikey. I finished cooking a few things for baji and myself when I heard the keys of the front door.

I saw surprised in his eyes when he saw my silhouette in his kitchen.
I announced that dinner was ready but before i could finish my sentence, the black hair boy interrupt me by saying
« you aren't joining the toman »
his sentence cut the tension like a knife. « WHY NOT ? » i shouted slowly and disappointed.
« you aren't strong enough and what if something bad happened to you ? » « Mikey said I was weak ? » « no... actually, he think you are pretty strong... » « so why am I not a part of it ?? »

He sat down and said

« because I think you are weak »

I didn't said anything after his sentence, I didn't want to argue anymore with him.
'now I know his point of vue of me'

maybe I was his childhood friend, even a bit more.. I didn't want to say anything else so I left.

{ the next day at the toman reunion }

Still sawako pov :

I'm waiting for Baji to finish his reunion, and I'm sitting on the floor at the corner next to the local store

They arrived 20 minutes later. The small gang leader with his Vice President, next to my childhood friend. 'Why did I accept to meet up after their meeting?? that's so stupid...'
the two blonds greet me with a small wave, Baji was looking at the floor thinking about yesterday and how seeing you today was going to be awkward.

The first thing I did while approaching the group was slapped Baji right in the face.
I just looked down.. « why don't you want me to join the toman ? »
the silence was heavy, really heavy
« I'm wondering the same » said Draken.
Mikey and Draken were waiting for a respond from the black hair boy
« I don't want her to join because she is weak »
Anger and rage took over my body the second he said that word.

my world start spinning when finally my fist have clenched.
I was looking at his jaw to punch it but with a swift reaction of his, he stopped it.
« you annoyed me so much... you said I'm weak but you know that's not true. I already proved my worth. »
Mikey walked behind me and sigh « aaaaah you know sawako-chan he is saying that to protect you ! »
i sigh with him « I know but you did recognised my worth » I said and he smirk « that's true wako-chan i want you to join but—» a hand grasped his collar
« don't even try » Baji shot him a death glare. Mikey raise his hands up in defeat.
« Sawako »

« You aren't joining us » said Mikey

Yep yep soooooo it's the end of the flashback but don't worry I will update soon so yeah bye :)
