As she stares into the glass, she see the reflection.
The reflection that made her feel how she feels now.
The reflection that made her whole life change.
It's the cause of everything.
You think you know her.
She thinks she knows herself.
But they don't. No one does.
She is no longer that happy, sweet, loving, girl anymore.
She is dark, depressed, jealous, and feels worthless.
And it's all because of those words.
The taunting, pointing, and laughing never ends.
It's like on constant replay in her mind,
Making her believe those lies.
She stares at the girl with blonde hair and blue eyes and thinks,
"What do I even stand for?
You make me feel worthless."
It's like she doesn't even matter.
She stares into the mirror, studying her every reflection.
The sadness in her expression, the emptiness in her eyes.
The shallow feelings are the effect of everything.
She sits in the corner, thinking of how everyone else ignores her.
She thinks that no one cares.
But she's wrong.
Everyone cares about her.
She just doesn't let anyone in.
"Lies," she tells herself.
"It's all lies. I am not me."
Tears stream down her face as she stares at the reflection in the mirror.
Mirrors reflect who we are,
Not what we look like.
It's a mirror image.
But as thoughts race through her mind,
She clutches the counter and says,
"This is not me. I am not worthless."
She stares straight into her own eyes and tells herself,
"I am me. I am no one else."
