He grabbed his stuff from my apartment, but there was one more thing. The necklace, that he got me for our anniversary.

"I think that's all,"

he said looking at me, his eyes sparkling with tears,

"Actually, there is one more thing."

I reached behind my neck to unclasp the rose quartz necklace, I was struggling for about a minute when I finally sighed,

"Want help?"

His voice breaking, I slowly nodded. I felt his cold shaky hands unclasp the shimmering baby pink necklace, a tear ran down my cheek. He wiped it away with his thumb, grabbed the necklace, and cleared his throat.

"Well I have to be up early tomorrow, I'm leaving for Hogwarts at dawn."

I said sharply,

"Well, then I'll be off."

his eyes red, I've never seen him so broken, but before I could say something, he took his leather satchel. And left.

As soon as he walked out, my heart broke. Into a million pieces, I didn't want this to be the end. Although if he really loved me he would've never hurt me, and he'd be happy for me to go to Hogwarts. I just don't know how to let him go. When I looked at the clock it was around 8:00, and I had to jump on a plane to London in 7 hours. So I changed into a sweatshirt and shorts and went to sleep.

The next morning around 2:07 am, I woke up to my alarm blaring. I turned it off, sighed in tiredness, grabbed my bags, and drove to the airport. I got there 13 minutes before my flight left, and I walked onto the plane for a 12-hour ride.

I slept half of the time, as I only got about four hours of sleep from stress. But I was very excited, I was going to meet my grandmother, for the first time in my life. She was meeting me in London, around 5 pm, she said she was taking me someplace called The Leaky Cauldron. Then the next day we would be going to Diagon Alley to spend the day together, as Professor Snape already had everything I would need for being his assistant, waiting for me at Hogwarts.

The plane ride went relatively fast, not much happened. Just listened to music and slept, then finally we landed in London. It was beautiful, I've always loved big cities, and London was huge. A population of 8.9 million, and it was amazing. I'd never been to a big city that felt more like home, I found my way to The Leaky Cauldron with directions my grandmother had given me. When I got there, I saw her waiting for me. With a big smile, and beautiful velvet green robes. She looked like the purest woman on earth.

"Hello dear, how was your travel?"

she said with a soft smile,

"It was good! Slept half of the time though."

"Good to hear."

She pulled me into a tight hug, then pulled away with her arms still around me.

"You, look just like your great-grandmother. You're a very beautiful young lady y/n."

"Thank you, Minerva."

"And oh my how smart, even Severus was impressed!"

At this point, I had never met Professor Snape, so in curiosity, I asked my grandmother

"Speaking of Snape, when shall I meet him?"

"Tomorrow,"

she said but then was cut off by a very tall and big man, with a huge beard

"Ello professor, oh is dis yer grand-aughter?"

she looked annoyed as he interrupted her,

"Good evening Hagrid, y/n this is the groundskeeper at Hogwarts. Rubeus Hagrid. Hagrid, this is my granddaughter y/n l/n."

I reached out my hand to shake his

"Pleasure Mr.Rubeus."

I said with a smile, he pulled you into a hug and said

"Well get over ere! Never knew McGonagall ad' a grand-aughter, she sure has a smart one!"

surprised you hugged him back and pulled away

"Thank you, Mr.Rubeus. Really I appreciate it."

"Oh please y/n, call me Hagrid! I heard yer Patronus is a hippogriff? Mazing creatures dey' are. I used to ave' one meself, the name was Buckbeak. Den he ran off, bless his little heart!"

Hagrid said with a sniffle,

"Yes my Patronus is a Hippogriff, and I hope to see you and some of your amazing creatures around Hogwarts this year!"

Minerva looked at you and said

"Well y/n you should be getting ready for dinner, Tom, the owner has got you in room 11 on the first floor,"

she stated sweetly,

"Thank you, Minerva, goodbye Hagrid,"

you said as you walked away and smiled, Hagrid nodded as you left. Then Minerva continued talking to Hagrid as you went to your room.
