❝𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐆𝐔𝐘𝐒 𝐖𝐄'𝐑𝐄 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄!❞
The cameraman yelled towards the group of very expensive looking people, all of them crowded in the small area by the door chatting amongst each other. you didn't have to look for long to see these people were swimming in money; from the way they dressed, carry themselves, hell even from the way they talked.
they soon noticed the shouts of the crew waving them down and approached the table that was reserved for them. the restaurant that they resided in was a very exclusive and fancy place—the entire building was pretty much quiet excluding the classical music that lowly played in the background. since this was a pretty private occasion, the restaurant was empty besides the large group of people, ensuring that there would be no other distractions or any nosy people staring and trying to figure out what was going on.
all of the wives held unto their husbands arm as they took their seats at the table, immediately taking off their jackets and placing them on the back of the chairs. the friends (at least some of them) spoke to each other briefly, catching up a little. they haven't all been together in a group like this since, maybe their last high school reunion. life gets busy when you're a millionaire.
as they tried to pick up the menu's placed in front of them, one of the film crews members cleared their voice to speak, quickly catching all of their attention.
"Hello everybody! My name is Joshua and I'm excited to shoot this show with you all" Joshua said in an excited tone, earning polite smiles from most of the table, all of them nodding in agreement. "i just want to start off and say i'm extremely happy that you all agreed to do this, there's a lot of reality tv with trophy wives or social media influencers, but none with you know, the real life millionaires, CEO's and whatnot, so i decided to make that happen, a lot of people wonder what people like you do in your day to day lifestyles."
he paused briefly when he noticed one of them having a strange look on their face. "do you have a question mr. um..." he trailed off, trying to match a name to a face. "...mr. iida?" he asked in an unsure tone but when the man nodded, he knew he got it right. "i was told this program was to help promote us and our businesses, not to put people in our business"
josh curled his lips up. this must be the pain in the ass know it all that the other producers warned him about. he cleared his throat again. "well technically, it would be promoting whatever business you all are in, this would just be more of a behind the scenes way of doing it, you know?," iida thought to himself for a minute before nodding in agreement.
"okay good, everyone's on board right? i'm going to look at this list to make sure everyone is here before we start rolling alright? okay" joshua didn't wait for anyone to speak up before he snapping his fingers and almost immediately, someone came over and handed him a clipboard with sheets of paper attached to it.
