"Alright we have to go all the way to Tokyo for tomorrow's match so we're gonna have to load onto the bus for a while I have the list of how we're sitting right here. kiyoko made it so I assume there will be no complaints." Coach Ukai announced slapping a paper onto the bench in front of the team.

Everyone crowded the list trying to get a peak at their travel buddie for the next 16 hours (idek if that's how long it would take but just ✨pretend✨)
You skimmed the list seeing your name by yamaguchi. Most people were by who you thought would be the best sitting mate, but you with Yams? Why? You never talk to the boy. He's always with tskuki (who is a jerk) so you never get to talk to him. You sigh this'll be a long trip you think. You usually like to talk so that's gonna be awkward.

"Grab the balls and your things and load up!" Coach yells as he swings the keys.

You being one of the managers had to grab a bag of balls and water bottles and go head to the bus. You throw the crap in the under storage part and climb to the back row. Most of the seats have people sitting across from each other but the back row was on giant continuous seat with no middle walk way to separate it. You placed you bag in the floorboard of one side and sat up against the window. You could probably squeeze three people in this row if you tied but the emergency exit took up a lot of room, making it just comfortable for two with a bit of room to spread out. Like a three row seat in a car.

You started getting yourself organized as the guys and other two managers came onto the bus. You saw Yams and smiled at him as he made his way to then back of the bus.

"You ready?" You asked excitedly.
"Yup!" He smiled and quickly looked away.

That's odd it's like he already hates being near me. Maybe he's tired, You think.

"Y/n head count!" Ukia calls from the front throwing you a clip board as you stand up.

"Alrighty!" You go up to the front and work your way back.

"Kags check, orange check,"  Kageyama gets red faced and Hinata yells "hey!" At your nicknames.

"Honey dew, check, hottie, check" you giggle looking over at yachi who  giggled back.

"Mom, check holy boi, check, dad, check, coach check" all of them break out laughing making fun of one another.

"Crack spawn, sugar rush, check and check." Noya winks at you and tanka is too busy looking for kiyoko to notice your remark.

"Salty shima, enno. Check check. Narnia kinno yep all here." You announce finishing off checking with your green pen and handing it back to ukia.

"How did you come up with those nicknames y/n there great!" Noya said laughing hysterically.

"I don't maybe I'm just super smart." You say poking your temple and laughing.

"Sureee that's what it is." Tsuki says rudely.

You go back to sit down and yams is glaring at Tsuki he notices you and starts smiling up at you. After a couple hours yams turns to the window and starts playing his phone. He keeps looking over at you. Maybe to start a conversation but you don't want to jump to conclusions. He might just be looking out your window.
