Kaya's POV

At around 1am, I finally arrived home from the concert. As I took a shower, got into my pajamas, and did my skincare routine, I couldn't stop thinking about Ace. He seemed so genuine and almost perfect. He was unlike any other guys I had met. I decided it would be a good idea to text him. I wasn't entirely ready for a relationship but I really wanted one with Ace.

"Hey." I texted Ace. After texting him, I decided to try and go to sleep. I had a busy day tomorrow and would benefit from it. But, Ace hadn't responded yet and it was keeping me up.

It was already around 2am and I wasn't asleep yet so I checked again to see if Ace responded. He had, thankfully.

"Hey." His text said, "We should hang out tomorrow. I really enjoyed talking to you last night."

I really wanted to hang out with him. We texted for a while and decided to meet up at a Starbucks around 3PM.

I woke up more anxious than usual. I had my "date" with Ace today and I still hadn't finished my article about the Jack Harlow concert.

I had arrived at work and had my usual small talk with Aliyah while eating breakfast and finishing up my article. I was still extremely nervous about meeting up with Ace. I was never nervous around men, but Ace had a special quality about him. I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

It was finally time for my "date" with Ace. I was excited to talk to him.

"What's up," he said, sitting down. I couldn't stop looking at his beautiful brown eyes, I was almost drowning in them.

"Hey," We started regular friendly dialogue. We spoke about our jobs and our interests. He told me about his photography hobby and even showed me some photos he had taken of Jack. He told me about a Kentucky collective he was a part of. Overall, I really enjoyed talking to him.

"Well," Ace said looking at me in the eyes. "It's about time I go, there's a party tonight at the hotel i'm staying at you should come..." He asked me to a party! I was so excited and of course said yes.

"Alright then," Ace said getting up. "See you later beautiful." Before leaving he made sure to give me a hug.

He really had me wrapped around his finger.
