The day was long as Sune led you around the shrine showing you what was what and where. You never expected the sprite to have so much so say- but then again, all the company he had was Bakugou and from the looks of it, it didn't seem like he was much of a conversationalist at all. In fact, it seemed like the fox went out of his way to avoid you and Sune as much as possible.
You sighed at the fact that it seemed your temporary shrine familiar didn't like you. Really didn't like you.
You could feel Bakugou's eye glare holes into your garbs anytime you passed by or even caught a glance at him. It was more than evident that you were very unwelcome in the foxes eyes- but, there was nothing you could do about it now. You were here and you were here to stay until you were declared finished with your training.
The sun had already begun to descend behind the tall valley walls when Sune finally left your side and let you breathe. You appreciated all the effort the sprite took to show you the ropes of the shrine, but it sure was tiring.
"At least I have a good idea of the layout now," you muttered to yourself. You wandered back to the front of the shrine to where you were led in the same morning as you stepped down onto the landing stone. You let out a small breath as you watched the sun cast shadows and dye the world red and orange- blending with the forest. "It's beautiful."
"Hey," a gruff voice called from beyond the tree line in front of you. Looking out, the shadow quickly formed into Bakugou as he came walking out of the forest. "What are you staring at," he demanded an answer- not even sounding like a proper question.
"Welcome back," you ignored his words. "Were you at the river again?" You asked as he walked towards you, then promptly past you to jump softly up onto the shrine corridor. It seemed he was content to ignore you in turn. You turned around, "Bakugou! Would you at least try to talk to me?"
He stopped in his steps, his head in the pocket of his harem pants and you saw his shoulders square. He looked over his shoulder, and down at you from the corridor. His eyes were hard- angry even. You almost shuddered at the idea of him truly hating that you were here.
Bakugou didn't speak, only clicked his tongue before he turned his head forward again and stomped off where it was he would go at this time.
You let a small shiver run through your shoulders as you brought your hands to your front and began to fiddle with your fingers.
You were lost in your head and only brought out of it when a small clap was just inches away from your nose. The small clap brought a small wisp of air to fan over your nose and cheeks. Sune floated in front of your face, their mask directly in front of you.
"Lady Y/n, are you well?" Their small hands fell back to their side, hovering just slightly over their small, child-like waist.
"Yes," you smile with a small nod. "It just seems that Bakugou isn't very fond of me."
"Master Katsuki is a stubborn one," the sprite began, bringing one hand up to extend their first finger in a teaching manner, "though, he takes care of me and this shrine and takes his job as it's familiar very seriously. It's not that he dislikes you, Lady Priestess, but he's not used to anyone other than myself being in the shrine. Give him a few days and he'll be sure to lighten up around you."
You smiled more genuinely at the sprite. His words were probably to just coat you in faux hope that the fox would change his mind, but oddly enough- lie or not- they did comfort you. It made sense in a way, you'd be cranky too if someone just came and intruded on your space, more so if you'd be virtually living on your own for so long.
