My furry saviour

Chapter 5

Arriving at my house all I could think of was those wolves. ' I didn't even know they had wolves around here' I thought with my mind racing still replaying what happened as I open the door.

"Camila is that you home, hija?" I heard my mum say as she rounds the corner from the kitchen. "How was your first day at the new school? Did you meet anyone?" She asks with a gentle smile on her face.

Calming down from my mothers kind smile I release a small smile of my own thinking of my new friends. "My day was good mamí, i surprisingly did meet some new people and they were very welcoming" I continued to smile while walking closer before she pulls me in for a hug.

"I'm glad you were able to meet some good people, hopefully I'll be able to meet them soon too?" She asks while pulling away.

"Mama I just met them it's a bit too soon" I groan. "But you will meet them, I'm sure you'll approve" I smile.

"Anyways Im glad you were able to get here so quickly and im glad to see you after your first day but I've got to get going for work, Sofi is upstairs in her room, I'll tell her you're here" she kisses my head before making her way to the stairs and calling on Sofi.

Foot steps coming running down the stairs along with a small head of dark hair to meet my mum.

"That's me going to work now, mija, but Camila is in now so she'll be with you" my mum says before placing a kiss on Sofi's head and moving towards the door.

"Actually mama about coming home-" I begin but get cut off suddenly.

"I apologise Karla but I really need to leave, tell me about it later ok?" She says before heading out the door with a final wave.

'I guess I'll need to tell her about the wolves another time' I thought with a said before I turn to find Sofi running towards me just in time to catch her and she jumps into my arms. Spinning us around we laugh before making my way into the living room to collapse on the couch with her next to me.

"Well hello there butterfly, I missed you!" I exclaim happily turning to face her with a huge smile on my face.

"I missed you too! Now come play with me!" she jumps up pulling my hand with her towards her room while grinning.
