Henry walked into the media center looking down not wanting to make eye contact with anyone, he didn't want anyone to see his tear stained face. He found the seat with his number and sat down, large cardboard dividers on either side of him painted black for some unknown reason. He sat there nervously twiddling with his thumbs waiting for the bell to ring and the other students to flood in.

Normally before school he William Clara and Ella would sit at the picnic tables and pretend to be busy so they wouldn't get yelled at. They'd talk about random stuff, movies they saw, sometimes William would pick on the younger kids like clay. Henry smiled at the memory's and plucked him glasses off and wiped his eyes he took a shaky breath and glanced around. He looked up to the board but couldn't find a time, is made him nervous.

He looked down at his arm and the small scar on in he had made last year in his culinary class, he scratched at the scar with his thumb until it started to bleed but it didn't really hurt so he started tear at the soft flesh. Then he heard a metallic sound and spun around in his chair, he gasped quietly covering his mouth and couldn't help but smile. William was being escorted to a seat on the other side of the room and he met Henry's eyes, he brought up a hand in an attempt at a wave before sitting down disappearing into the mess of dividers.

Henry smiled and turned back to his seat as the bell rung, the writing test was a breeze and he finished with an hour and a half to spare although he didn't know that, there was no clock in the room. He raised his hand and a teacher he didn't know walked over and told him that he just had to sit there but he could draw on his planing sheet. He sat there for what felt like hours and seconds both at the same time when finally they started to collect the test. After a few more minutes they started releasing the kids by section, William's was first.

"No, no, no, no, no" Henry mumbled as William stood up and disappeared again, Henry's section was called last and he raced to grab his back pack looking around hoping that William didn't leave yet. "Hey, hey calm down" that familiar voice cooed and Henry spun around hugging William tightly. "Hey come on you too get to class" one of the teachers called and they both walked out of the media center talking about how much they missed each other and how they never wanted to part again.

"Hey will" Henry asked hesitantly and William looked at him, "yes love?" "Ummm what's with the new letters ?" William gave him a confused look. "What do you mean hen?" "Oh ummm n-never mind, I think that was a dream" Henry said quickly covering it up. William chuckled and shook his head "oh Henry what am I going to do with you" he sighed but his smile faded, Henry knew why. "Bye will" he mumbled hugging him tightly again, "bye love" he smiled and kissed his cheek before walking away. Henry stood there frozen in place as his face flushed bright pink, he slowly touched where William had kissed and smiled to himself before the lunch bell rang and he walked off to the cafeteria to eat.

He walked through the lunch line a sudden wave of sadness washed over him, he blinked hard. It felt like he was losing William all over again and it hurt like hell. Will already looked different, he was taller his hair had grown to shoulder length and his voice seemed a bit deeper. Yet he still has the same old smile same laugh and he still looked like he was planning everything out down to when to blink. Henry got his food and sat at the lunch table in the corner of the room, he pulled out his note book and just started doodling random things. "PE is next, I could talk to Mrs. Holland about it" he mumbled to himself smiling.

William hurried off to the front office not wanting to see Henry's reaction, he told the lady he was finished testing and she called the jail and instructed William to wait at the parent drop off loop. He stood there leaning against a tree watching the road for a cop car to come take him back to his jail cell, his own little world. William glanced around, there where no fences to keep him inside it would be so easy to just run away and never look back, yet he stayed glued to that spot. He stood there patiently until an officer pulled up and helped him in the back seat of the car not bothering to put his handcuffs back on. They trust me, he quietly thought to himself smiling as he leaned against the window, maybe I'll be out sooner then expected
