Jake

It's already 11 pm and yet you can't sleep, because you overthink something and especially you have insomnia. And now you want to freshen your mind and take late-night walks all by yourself.

So you wash your face and grab a hoodie cuz it's cold outside, and carefully heading out for a walk. While walking you thought that it'll be better if you'll be walking around the Han river since it's near to your apartment and you'll see the river flows and the moon's reflection on it.

You sat on one of the benches, close your eyes, take a deep breath and open your eyes while watching the river flows along with the moon's reflection shining in front of you.

Footsteps coming making you startled and opened your eyes to see, it's just a boy walking around the river, just like you.

And you go back minding your own business watching the moonshine with the stars, silence yet calming.

"Hey miss, why are you still up in this late night?" The boy asks you concerned. "Oh uhm it's because I can't sleep." You replied to him.

"What if there's a group of drunk guys or whatsoever approaching you? I guess you know what I mean." Girl, he's really concerned. "It's ok I can take care of myself. Thanks for the concern anyway." He just smiled.

"Hehe, no worries, btw what's your name?" Now he's asking to be your friend. "L/n Y/n, how about you?" You smile at him. "Shim Jaeyun, you can just call me Jake." He smiled at you too.

Y'all talk for a while and you just realized that it's already 2:55 am and you still have a shift at 9:00, so you tell him that you'll now head home and he will also heading back home.

"See you tomorrow, I guess.." you stated. "Yeah see you, you're coming here tomorrow? Right?" He asks. "Yes, well bye~" you waved your hands to Jake as you head home and he waves goodbye to you too. Han river, the meeting place.

Sunghoon

You're at the Arena practicing your ice skate performance to present in the next 3 days. While your coach is watching you and teaching you for your performance and stuff, he dismissed and calls out for a break.

You sure are exhausted and tired of all the practice I must say. Then your mother approaches you with a sad look with a red swollen eye painted on her face, and it got you concern.

"Mom? What's with the face?" You ask with a concerned look. "Y-your f-father.." she cried. "What's with Dad? I-is there something wrong?" And now you got confused about what's happening. You know that your family is complete, you have a mother, a father, and a younger sibling. And it's perfect for you.

"Y-your f-father f-filed a d-divorce." She sobs hardly while hugging you tightly as in very tightly, at this point your heart broke into billions of pieces. "W-why w-would f-father d-do that?" You ask again in curiosity. "H-he a-already have an n-new family t-to take c-care w-with." Again hearing that from your stressed mother your heartaches in pain.

You can't help it, it hurts, it hurts. It hurts seeing one of your family members cried in pain, and you're the only one who fixes the damages or problems.

Few minutes had passed, you decide to call your father and the next thing you knew is 'Sorry, please try to call later and it went silent. You tried to call again but that is what you hear on the other side of the phone.

You ran out of the ice skating hall, and head outside, while your coach is in the restroom. You ran and ran you let your feet take you, the next moment you found yourself in the Arena's garden and sob letting your emotions out.

It's hard, especially for those persons who have a special place in your heart. Breaks you. Just let it out of your emotions until you felt a warm jacket on your back. You look up to see, one of your competitors Park Sunghoon, placed his jacket on yours while smiling at you softly.

"What's the matter? Why are you crying?" He asks while sitting next to you. "M-my f-family got d-divorce." You stated and he went speechless, he just sits beside you worriedly. A silence pass you two and Sunghoon started to end the silence.

"I know we're uhm competitors but you can come to me if you need help" yes you guys are competitors on the outside but on the inside you guys are friends.

"T-thank y-you Sunghoon." You said and hug him lightly, while he hugs you back.
