I know it could be worse
But you know that we’re alike
All you can see is the differences and your dislike
But look on the bright side
Our lives spin out of control
And end up twisting into one
Try and understand
I’m not trying to make a strike
We may argue and scream but
You know that we’re alike
It’s the same old song
You berate me as I try to explain
You yell at me as I feel dull and bland at your game
It’s clear that someone is stubborn
But that doesn’t mean we can’t try
To get along
Try and understand
I’m not trying to make a strike
We may argue and scream but
You know that we’re alike
It’s true that we’re alike
I don’t want a sympathy strike
But that doesn’t mean we can’t try
To get along
Try and understand
I’m not trying to make a strike
We may argue and scream but
You know that we’re alike
We’re more alike than you think
Watch, at the same time we’ll even blink!
