Molly ambushed her children as they came off the train. Enveloping them all in crushing hugs, while chiding them to get a move on. She got to Fred and George last, and surprisingly, grabbed me in a hug before them. "Hello, Louise, darling! Are your parents around? Don't want to keep them waiting."
"Actually, mum," Fred spoke up, "with circumstances and such, I was hoping she could stay with us for the summer."
His eyes had no humour in them, despite the smile on his face. Molly was puzzled for a moment, looking from Fred to me. "After what happened at school, home might not be so safe." He added quietly.
Realization flooded her face, her mouth a grim line. "Of course," she muttered, then resumed her usual jolly composure, "of course you can stay dear! You're always welcome. Come, grab your things, we're taking a cab. Your parents are already aware?"
"Yes, she owled them from the train. But no thanks to the cab, mum, we're going to apparate home." Fred said, his chest puffing up with pride.
Molly smiled sadly and shook her head. "No, boys. You will not be apparating. While I am proud you passed with distinction, it's much too far for you to try to apparate when you are so new to it."
The twins had deflated slightly from being told they couldn't use their first excuse to use magic outside of school. I honestly did too, we had all come of age in the past year at Hogwarts, the twins in April and I in March.
"Come on then, into the cabs." Molly said.

I piled into a cab along with the entire Weasley family. It was a long, uncomfortable ride to the Burrow. Fred kept grumbling about how much easier apparition would have been, while George nodded along, just as annoyed.
When we finally got to the Burrow, I nearly launched myself from the taxi, desperate for some fresh air. Molly had brought egg salad sandwiches for the ride, and after several hours, the smell was close to making me vomit.
I filed into the Burrow along with the Weasley's, Fred's fingers loosely intertwined with mine. He pulled me up towards his and George's room. In the chaos of getting everything sorted in the kitchen, no one noticed us slip away. Fred shut the door quietly, and pulled me towards his bed. "We've got two minutes alone before Molly notices." I laughed.
"Two minutes? Nah, mum won't notice I'm gone for a while. George will realize we've snuck away in that time."
He sat on the bed and pulled me into his lap so I was straddling him. I leaned down and kissed him, letting my arms rest on his shoulders. His hands were on my waist, slowly moving under my shirt, pulling me closer. The kiss began to grow more hungry and desperate, Fred rolled to the side, trapping me underneath him. He began to lift my shirt upward, but was interrupted by three loud knocks on the door. "Go away, George" Fred said loudly, breaking away only for a moment.
"It's Ron, you git. Mums looking for you, you left something downstairs." He yelled back.
Fred groaned in annoyance. He gave me one more kiss, and pulled my shirt back down before climbing off me. "To be continued." He winked, and left the room.

The first week of summer passed quickly. It was a blur of family meals and chores. I never seemed to have a moment alone with Fred, Molly always seemed to keep me busy with helping in the kitchen or yard work. The only time we were able to talk was in the late afternoon when we played Quidditch together. Arthur disappeared most evenings, we really only saw him at breakfast. It was shaping up to be a normal, fun summer at the Burrow.
Until one day after work, Arthur came home, bringing Percy with him, and all hell broke loose.
We were gathered in the kitchen, all helping in some way get ready for dinner, two small pops sounded outside, followed by Percy slamming through the back door, Arthur following right behind. "I'm trying to protect you, son!" Arthur yelled, his face beet red with anger.
