I haven't seen anyone in weeks. The last person that came by tried to kill me. Why? Becuase I have a surplus of weapons, expecially long range. Why? Because this used to be a military base, before it was overrun by those... well... monsters. Me and a small group cleared it out about 3 months ago, but they all got killed, so I just stay inside and ration the food amongst myself. I won't step outside the base, it's safe in here, I know that, but I don't know what lies out there. Plus, who would want to leave all these books? And don't get me started on the radio I found, plus with all the car battery's I've made this place my own little paradise!
Today was just like any other day, of course. Nothing ever changes. Wake up, eat a can of fruit, tidy up just a tad, read, then read some more, then read again, dance around like an idiot, and then read, and then eat dinner, and then read, and then dance, and then sleep. Same thing day in, day out. But at least I know it's safe.
I was sweeping when I heard the sound of footsteps. These weren't messy and sloppy footsteps like those of the Shinda mono's. These ones where steady and strong. People.
I grab a pistol and knife and creep around til I see them in the tree line. Two male, three female. Two humans, a unicorn head, and two flame demons/monsters. The one that looked the oldest was the female fire monster/demon, as she looked early to mid 20's. The others all looked like teens, no older then me I assume. Not by much anyways.
"Woah, hey, check out that camp!" One of the humans yell, a perky blonde.
"Oh, yeah, I wonder if anyone lives there." The other human says.
"Ehhh, by the look of it, no. That base is pretty big, and just look at all the Dead One's crawling around. Looks overrun." The female flame demon says.
I smile to myself. I had read a book about paper maché so I used all the old magazines left to create Shinda Mono's. Lucky real ones never moved unless they heard sound or saw someone.
"Well, why don't we go check it out? It doesn't look that overrun. We can take that on!" The pony head says.
She doesn't even knows what coming to her.
I lightly glide/ hop closer to them, fluttering my wings to give me lift.
"Did you guys see something?" The make flame demon asks, looking towards me.
