Speedy: I don't think people usually keep in touch with their ex..
Bea: Well, I wouldn't know.
Speedy: ...you've never been in a relationship?
Bea: Not really. I had a few people interested in me but I rejected them.
Speedy: Oh, that's a bit harsh..
Bea: It's not because of them! At that time, I was too focused on my mechanic work. So, I didn't want to end up accidentally neglecting the person I'm in a relationship with.
Speedy: Hmm.. But, I'd say things are different now, isn't it?
Bea: I guess so? My life is already at a stable point, but.. I've never really thought of anything about relationships or marriage.
Speedy: I haven't thought about it in a while either.
Bea: Well, we do spend the majority of our time with the cadets and the academy. I don't think we would've had time to spend with our partners if we had any.
Speedy glanced away from Bea, unconsciously trying to hide whatever he was feeling.
