Kyle stared at himself in the mirror. Somehow he had expected to look different this morning, but of course he looked the same. A bit more stubble than last night, and his hair was messy, but otherwise he looked the same as on any other morning.
He didn't feel the same. He felt giddy when he thought back to last night. He had kissed Emily and he had kissed Noah and the world hadn't ended. He had liked it. Boy, did he like it.
He was very aware that they were moving at his pace and he was glad for it too. After last night he was ready to pick up the pace a bit. Things were going very well between the three of them and kissing made him curious about other things they could be doing in the hopefully near future.
He shook his head and smiled at himself, who would have thought he would one day date a married couple. He showered, dressed and was just about to sit down with his coffee and paper when his phone rang.
Martin's name flashed across the screen."Why are you up already?" Kyle asked, blowing on his coffee.
"Why are you up already?" Martin answered.
It was just after nine. "Saturdays are workdays for me. I have some deliveries. So, you?"
"I was curious about your dating life with the hot and amazing couple," Martin answered.
They were a hot and amazing couple, Kyle thought."It's going really well," he said.
"Really?" Martin's voice was teasing.
"Really. As you know they came over for dinner last night. Wait, did you call to ask if we had sex?"
"Maybe? It's not every day your best friend invites a hot married couple to his home for dinner and you've been dating for some time now..." he trailed off.
Kyle thought about not saying anything, but really Martin was the only person who knew he was dating two people right now and he wanted to tell someone.
"It was really nice, we kissed.""You and the wife?"
"Her name is Emily," Kyle replied.
"So you and Emily? Did her husband watch?"
"Yes and yes, but also me and Noah and Noah and Emily, while I watched. It was..."
"Hot?" Martin supplied.
"It really was. I didn't think I would ever be part of something like this, but yeah, it was really hot."
"And kissing a guy? Any freak-outs or regrets this morning?" Martin asked, his voice serious again.
Kyle took another sip of his coffee. "No. No freak-outs and no regrets if anything I want to do it again. It wasn't that different than kissing a woman."
The kissing part, he knew was probably the easy part."So...you want to continue dating them?" Martin asked.
"Yes."
"And maybe do more than kissing?"
"I think so. I mean it's a bit scary, but it's not like now that I am dating a guy I need to have anal, right?"
Martin choked on something and then laughed. "Fuck, no you don't have to give or receive either."
Kyle nodded, and it didn't matter that Martin couldn't see it. He didn't have to do anything he wasn't comfortable with. There wasn't a one fits all template when it came to sex after all. But if he was honest with himself he was looking forward to getting naked with Emily and Noah, was looking forward to having orgasms together.
"Right," Kyle said."I'm happy for you. After you know who it's nice to see you happy," Martin said.
"Thanks. And her name is Patricia," Kyle said just to hear Martin groan.
