It had been three days since the encounter with meka, she had thought about his words so much that it was driving her insane. Insane. That's another way to describe Asylums apprentice, the 16 year old blonde girl, Salem, was small and at first seemed weak. Salem was anything but weak. She built bombs, that was how she defended herself. She exploded people. At this moment, Asylum was watching Salem and Kaitlynn have a sparring match. The two were talented but Asylum and Salem had a bond. They just understood what was going on without even trying to. It came in handy when fighting. Asylum just gave Salem a look and Salem knew what to do.
Asylum had a dazed look, watching the two fight until Salem walked over. Salems blue eyes and pale skin contrasted her scarred and feminine face. Salem gave her the look and asylum sighed.
"It's nothing Salem. I've just got a lot going on at the moment. Go spar again"
Salem hummed and stayed still, she crossed her arms and tapped her feet. She stared asylum down again, waiting for her to speak. Asylum sighed again and spoke.
"You remember meka?"
As asylum spoke Salem also spoke, leaning against the wooden railing.
"Yeah, why?"
"He got out. He escaped."
Salem let out a gasp, covering her mouth andl looked purely amazed at the news
"Well we should find him-"
Salem began, getting cut off by asylum.
"No. Let him be. He's no harm to us anymore"
Asylum breathed in, the death threat of her brother coming to mind. She wasn't even sure that he was no harm but she didn't want to scare Salem. Salem might look tough but she's a child at heart. She's sensitive and easy to manipulate and break. Asylum knew that.
And yet, she still wanted to see her break, to watch Salem cry. It was always fun to watch the younger guards cry about being injured but Salem didn't cry about that. Salem cried about her dog running away and her mother being sick and what her dad did to her. The sick bastard. She was a child. Asylum gagged at the thought of Alex Lee. Salem knew what she was thinking about and shrugged, placing her bandanna in place, watching asylum blankly.
"asylum, please, please, for the love of God, do not and i mean do not let him manipulate you.."
"-again"
