I noticed Leif teleporting around and decided to follow him. I followed him all the way to the spell pool where Ava was, and apparently Pierce as well.

I saw him get out his daggers to which I responded to my getting out my own knives. He teleported right next to Ava, but I sheathed my knives once I noticed Pierce react to Leif, signaling his consciousness.

Leif brought his dagger down, Pierce bringing his sword out to stop Leif's dagger in a millisecond.

I could see Leif's mouth moving, signaling he was talking. I was too far away to hear, but if I got any closer, I would be caught. I sighed quietly, giving up. I just watched their actions from afar, noticing Leif back off.

Pierce held up his sword as they talked.

Leif's POV

"How long are you going to keep this up?" I asked Pierce.

"As long as I need." Pierce responded simply.

"Especially when your intentions aren't clear." Pierce said.

"Please, my intentions are simple. I do what I feel like doing. Either I feed information off of her, or I kill her. Sometimes I can't pick between the two. Tonight I felt like killing her. Simple." I responded plainly.

"A life and death, that's simple for you?" He raised his voice.

"Haha, why are you asking such stupid questions?" I laughed. He stayed silent.

"I said it before, and I'll say it again. E-arth has changed us whether we want to admit it or not. I can't quite put my finger on why it happened." I said, thinking about her.

I noticed Pierce widen his eyes as he put his sword away.

"Kill her." Pierce said. I was confused by this.

"Huh?" I questioned.

"I'm allowing you to do it." He replied simply. He turned towards Ava, "Go."

"Really?!" I asked, excited.

"Yes." He said. I laughed evilly.

"Alright!" I cheered. I teleported behind her and raised my dagger.

Her face looked...off.

"Huh?" I questioned. Suddenly, a fireball shot at me. Ouch.

Fal's POV

"Why do you insist on defying my orders?!" Asch yelled. I kept my eye on Leif. I was a bit worried for him, but he also kinda deserved it.
