I walked forwards, the light from the sun reflecting off my mask. Thankfully I could see out of it, there were very small holes cut into it. Before the mask had the small holes cut into it I was constantly crashing into things and people, although mainly George and Sapnap. After a while, Sapnap had had enough and snapped at me to go 'cut some holes' into it. Something along those lines.

So after a while, I agreed. And I do not regret it, I can see better than you'd think. Perks of wearing a mask, you don't get blinded by the sun, people can't see if you're laughing at them, and they can't really tell your identity properly. Unless of course they had mind reading powers, which is very unlikely.

I spotted a familiar pinkette, who was standing near the armoury fixing up some things. Unusually, he was wearing completely black. Usually Techno wore a red robe and bright colours, but not today. He looked even more demonic than usual.

Huh.

I made my way over to him, putting a hand on his shoulder. He flinched the slightest bit and straightened up, turning to look at me.

"Why are you wearing black Techno? Are you going to a funeral?" I asked him in the most innocent sounding tone I could muster. Technoblade raised an eyebrow. Then he quickly reached into the pocket of his trousers, pulling out a netherite dagger. He held it up to my throat.

"Yeah, yours," he answered in his usual monotone voice. Worst thing was, that he sounded serious. I laughed a bit anyway to hide the small lump of unease that had formed in my throat. The piglin hybrid sighed, returning the dagger to his pocket and turning back to fixing his armour. I rubbed my neck.

"That was uncalled for," I commented, shoving my hands in the pocket of my hoodie.
"You coming over here was uncalled for," Techno flicked an ear, not looking up from what he was doing.
"Harsh. But why are you wearing black?" I asked again, this time actually interested.
"None of your business, Dream. Go do your speedrun or whatever," Techno took out a small block of something, placing it into a bucket and hanging it over the fireplace.
"Nah, everyone else is busy. And you're the only one I can annoy, currently," I responded. He paused. Then he slowly turned to me, a blank expression on his face. Ah shit. It always freaked me out when he did this and he knew it.

"Dream, go find someone else to annoy. Like Tommy or Wilbur," Techno glared at him, the blank expression gone. I snorted, moving closer. He promotly moved away, taking the bucket off the fireplace and pouring the melted liquid into a sword meld.

Ah, so he was making a new sword. Makes sense, his old one broke in a fight with an enderman.

"No," I objected.
"Why?" He was clearly starting to get annoyed, which made me grin a little.
"Because I don't know where they are, and I'm talking to you, " I answered him. He was silent for a moment, looking me up and down. Then he sighed again.
"Fine, you can stay. Just try not to be too annoying."

Art is not mine!! I found it on Tumblr, I think the watermark is in the drawing :)
