My father once told me 'When it comes time for marriage, know that marriage is not for your love of the person you marry, it is for your love of your people.' If they expect me to marry the Prince then I will, for my people. I know I seem like the perfect Princess because I accept my duties, but I revolt in my own ways. I used to have a secret social media account, which is strictly forbidden for any member of the Royal family. When my mother was my age she fell in love with a commoner, Cade, he begged her to run away when her parents informed her she was to marry my father. But her love for the people was stronger than her love for Cade, and she married my father out of duty. She learned to love my father, and she is happy to have saved her people from any suffering her disappearance might have caused. My mother was the daughter of Duke Beldane and Lady Brynn, she was a duchess and had never asked for more, she never dreamed to be a queen. But she answered the call of duty, and when it's my turn, I will answer my call. Prince Aylan and I spent the day in the sunroom, I was drawing on my easel and he was reading a book, we didn't speak much, but when we did it was a comfortable conversation, not forced. Today I drew a girl, wearing a crown. She was kneeling by a lake and a man cloaked in the darkness of a forest stood watching her. But not in a malicious way, he watched her like she was his to protect, he is her guardian angel.
