To where and back again

Weird occurrence

George hadn't expected his experiment to work so well, so well that he was taken all the way back to 2021.

Great just great

Now he was just walking with this random man, he hoped the store at least had some of the outdated parts, even then George would have to reverse engineer those. He was frustrated he truly was but maybe this man, Dream, could provide him some comfort.

"We're here!", he said looking at the doors, George finally looked up, it was a parts store. Dream turned to face George again yet dream noticed something, "we should probably find you a new pair of those", he said pointing at George's forehead. George looked at him confused until he put his hand to where Dream had pointed. His goggles were broken.

"Let's just go in", George said, slouching as he walked. The store was small yet it had many parts to buy.

"It's not much, but the parts are cheap at least", George looked around at the shelves, there was something nice about the small store, "here!"Dream quickly grabbed something and handed it to George. George looked down to find a pair of white sunglasses with black lenses.

"Try 'em on!"Dream said excitedly. George smiled and shrugged slightly before putting them on.

"How do they look?", George asked him sheepishly. Dream just gave him a thumbs up before going to look at some parts.

"I need some for a new PC I'm making", Dream explained, "don't get lost", George just rolled his eyes.

George wasn't sure where to start, he didn't recognize any of the parts exactly yet he still looked. He found a piece that looked similar to the one he needed, he went to grab it when...

George stood in the middle of the room, the blinds closed, he sighed before putting his goggles on. He was just going back to about three hours ago, well he hoped he was going too.

He was about to go into the unknown....

Yet he needed too in order to not get kicked out, he sighed before clicking the watch certain buttons on the watch.

"Here goes nothing", he said as he pressed the center of the watch.

"You alright?"George jumped slightly looking to find Dream standing there.

"Y-yeah sorry", George said before looking back at the part, "I just need a few more parts"

Dream paid for the parts they both needed and the two left the store. The pair walked in silence and it was getting awkward, Dream had finally spoken.

"So where do you live?"

"Umm well...not around here" George said looking down, "where are we even?"

"You sure you don't need to go to the hospital?", dream asked, George just glared.

"No, I'm fine, I'm just a little lost", George sighed.

"Right....", Dream clearly had something on his mind and George could tell.

"Spit it out", George said and Dream just looked at him, "you want to ask something"

"Yeah it's umm...why did you ask me what year it was earlier?"George tensed slightly.

"Well umm", Dream seemed trusting and had gone along with him even after he acted like a weirdo, maybe he could....

"I'm from the ummm....", George gulped, "future-", Dream just blinked at him for a few seconds.

"Righttt", Dream said worryingly, "guess people are that weird in Florida"

"I am telling the truth!"George got defensive for a second, "Wait, we're in Florida?"Dream just laughed for a second.

"Do you have a place to stay?"Dream asked him..

"No...No I don't", George admitted.

"So you don't have a place and you think you're from the future", dream was pondering.

" Am from the future", this was going to be hard to explain or even prove, he couldn't travel through time but maybe he could, "want me to prove it?", dream just looked at him.

"Sure go ahead", Dream sighed, George only laughed slightly. He switched settings and pointed at the bench across the street from them.

"See the bench over there?", Dream just nonchalantly nodded, "watch this"

Dream watched the bench, his eyes surprised when a beam hit the bench and side you it was in front of him causing him to trip.

"Now do you believe me?"George teased, Dream just stared at him for a second.

"H-how did you do that?"dream asked amazed, George just laughed.

"I'm from the future, remember?". He offered his hand to help the taller boy up. Dream was still just looking at him.

"What year?"Dream asked him.

"2080", George replied, George just smiled before feeling weak in the knees slightly. Dream held him slightly.

"You okay?", Dream asked worryingly, George just nodded slightly feeling like he was going to pass out.

"I'm fine I'm just-", George felt his eyes close as he passed out in Dreams arms.
