The United Planets was neutral during the first few years of the 4th Intersolar War. This would would forever change the way the Galaxy would fight its Wars, along with changing many Economies and Military ties. New Allies and Enemies would be created by this massive mess of alliances.
The Allies comprised of Spiro, Xiophorph, Oskau and 17 other nations. The Axis comprised of the IW, Taralin Federation and the Interstellar Empire, along with 11 other allies. This was the beggining forces of both sides, and it was at first the advantages of the Axis that would lead to massive gains during the continuation of the War.
The United Planets sold outdated Equipment and Supplies to both sides. The Axis didn't really care that much about it, but the Allies were not fond of this action. They tried to blockade U.P. worlds, but only agitated their People instead.
The U.P. President asked to only send supplies to the Axis, and Congress agreed with 97% of the vote. The Allied powers would now be insufficient in Resources and Equipment, which makes their job THAT much harder.
Now, the Axis are better equipped and have better technology than ever before. This WOULD have scared the United Planets if they didn't have better tech, but not they have better vehicles and Weapons to boot.
