Jeff's Point of View
While Todd and I were on our normal morning hike, my phone goes off & I immediately pick up thinking it was Liz. As soon as I hear that laugh, I knew who it was, no other than Suzy Lu.
Conversation
Suzy: Hey Jeff, how are you?
Jeff: Great & you?
Suzy: Good aswell, I just wanted to ask if you were ready for the trip? I heard from a little bird that you found love & wanted to see if you wanted to tag her along?
Jeff:hahaha I wonder who that little bird was? (As I turn & stare at Todd) thanks for reminding me again about the trip, I almost forgot 😅umm well yeah I can ask her. And I'll let you know as soon as I know her answer.
Suzy: Yayy! Finally some less wild people on the trip. I hope to meet her soon. Thanks Jeff! Talk to you later!
As I was about to speak, Suzy hung up on me. I looked at Todd. Todd was already staring at me with a huge smirk on his face. I just laughed, I don't know how I'll ask Liz. Since we just met & she just moved in. She probably has a lot of stuff she needs to get done & I don't want her thinking I'm a stalker. But if I don't invite her then I'll be bumped out. Ughh such a hard decision. Todd simply says "just ask her man, what is the worst that can happen. Her saying no?" I looked up & hadn't realize I was talking out loud. But Todd is right, I'll ask her once I get back home.
Liz's POV
First stop Target, as I'm parking my truck. Des was asking if her & Todd would look cute together. I turn around & say, bestfriend not to be mean. But you can do a little better😅
(No offense to any Todd fans)
I don't have anything against him, but that dude looks like a player. Des just laughs & says, "you are right. Ima meet the love of my life at work. Or better yet, here at Target". We both looked at eachother and laughed. As we make our way inside, we each get a cart. Because we know that we will both fill it up. I tell her to meet back at the front in 45minutes. Des nods & goes to the left as I go straight, looking for some toothpaste, toothbrush, and all those personal hygiene essentials. As I was searching for cute shower curtain my phone starts ringing. Once again from an unknown number. This time I decide to accept the call.
