Chapter 2

I'm pulling back into to our driveway after my seven hour shift at Cheers and Beers. I glance at my watch it's currently 7:00 pm and the concert starts at 9:30pm. Plenty of time to get ready with the girls.

While I'm unlocking the door I hear the song friends by Chase Atlantic blaring. I gasp feeling betrayed. I know they are not having a pre concert before the concert without me I wine.

I'm busting through the door stomping my way to Brinley's room. As I'm coming into the room I see Brinley and miracle jumping with their arms in the air. "Delilah! When did you get back from work!"Brinley yells over the music. " Just now! Y'all thought it was okay to have a pre concert without me!" I yell back over the blasting music.

They both run to me and lift my arms in the air making me jump with them. I laugh " what the hell were we tell me we weren't just friends this doesn't make much sense, no but i'm not hurt, I'm tense cause I'll be fine without you babe!" We all three scream the lyrics in unison while jumping in a circle. I could never stay mad at these girls for more than five minutes.

"alright alright ladies it's time to get all cute and sexy for this concert we need to be at in approximately 3 hours." I say while the girls look at me and nod with a smirk plastered on their beautiful faces. " I'll be right back I need to grab my makeup and outfit" I say while walking out the room. " me to" Miracle says on her way out behind me.

I reach my vanity grabbing my makeup bag and brush. Then my bed to grab my sexy outfit I laid out this morning when I woke up. I look at it with a big smile on my face knowing heads are going to be turning in my direction all night. Not that I crave male attention or anything. Its just sometimes it feels good knowing you look good and having someone notice.

I head back to Brinley's room seeing Miracle made it back before me. They both turn to me smiling while looking at my outfit for tonight in my arm. " Chase might ask you back stage seeing you in that outfit gahdayum" Brinley says "I would go into cardiac arrest if he even notices me" I say truthfully.

We start doing our makeup together. I'm going for a light neutral tone makeup look to go with my brown top paired with black skinny jeans and brown silver buckle belt. I see Brinley's doing a gorgeous grunge makeup look to go with her vintage grey Mötley Crüe shirt and grey skinny jeans with a pink belt , and Miracle is doing a black smokey grunge makeup look to go with her black cropped Harley Davidson tank top and black mini skirt paired with a red handbag.

We do our last finishing touches to our hair and makeup while taking a minute to admire one another's hard work. " that black Smokey eye is to damn good Miracle." Brinley says with her mouth wide open. " thank you baby it's all about the blending" Miracle winks blowing a kiss in her direction Brinley catches it and holds it to her heart. " fuck we look good." I say while we all stare at each other in our bathroom mirror. " now let's head to the kitchen and fill our water bottles up with vodka." I say while strutting out the bathroom Miracle and Brinley doing the same.

I take three water bottles out the fridge and let the water pour out into the sink. I take the vodka from the top of our fridge and fill our bottles up to the brim. I glance at my phone seeing the time 8:40 pm our uber should be pulling up any minute now. I grab three red bulls out the fridge and hand them theirs along with their vodka filled water bottles. "Cheers sista's" I say while taking a shot and chasing it with the red bull Brinley and Miracle follow my lead. We all make a stank face feeling the burn making it's way down our throats. I hear my phone ding seeing the Uber has arrived. " who's ready to have the best night out!" I yell with the biggest smile on my face. " me!!" Brinley and Miracle say at the same time.

We get in the Uber seeing the driver is in his mid thirty's with a bald head and bushy moustache . It said his name was Jonathan on the app. He pulled up in a red mustang. " I like your car." I say out loud to Jonathan. " He looks at me through his mirror staring at my breasts. Yuck " thanks" he says licking his lips with pedophile eyes. I wish I could take back the compliment. Brinley and Miracle look at me trying to hold back their laughter with how disgusted I look. Only 30 minutes then you won't see him again I tell myself over and over again while taking a gulp of my vodka chasing it with the red bull.

We arrive at the arena and get out the car. As I'm getting out the car dear Jonathan thought to ask for my number so I lied and said I was lesbian and slammed the door. " y'all want to take two more shots?" I ask they both agree and we take two more shots not tasting the alcohol anymore due to feeling the effects already. I hook my arm through Brinley and miracles and we make our way inside the arena.I turn and look at Brinley the same time shes turned to look at me we both laugh. I turn to look at Miracle with a big toothy smile and she returns the same. " I love you guys" I say meaning every word. " we love you to Delilah" Brinley says giving my hand a squeeze.

We make our way to the pit getting in our spots. I look around admiring the building were in for a moment while seeing people pour in to get to their sections. I can't help but notice how all these people are gorgeous. I'm convinced all people who listen to Chase Atlantic are hot.

" I'm so excited I can feel my heartbeat in my ass" Brinley says on my right. Me and Miracle laugh loudly together while Brinley is holding her butt with wide eyes. " I'm so excited I might shit my pants" I say holding my butt with wide eyes. Brinley and Miracle laugh from beside me. " well I'm so excited....I don't know what but I'm excited" Miracle laughs.

Are laughter gets cut off when the stage lights turn on with bright blue and bright purples littering the stage. The whole arena screams in anticipation. At that moment I knew this would be a night I would never forget.
