Seher didn't come back home that night. She called Cenger to ask him to take care of Yusuf and then talked to Yusuf himself. She lied she didn't feel good and because he was in the hospital not so long ago, she was afraid of his health and decided to keep distance for a few days. Then mother Nadire gave her pillow and a blanket and without asking anything turned the lights off.

Seher sat on the sofa and cried. She took off her wedding ring almost breaking her finger because it didn't want to come off. She felt pain, she felt tired and crushed. He lied. He lied all the time, when he said he wanted to marry her, when he said he caught her in a trap, when he made her fall in love. He destroyed her soul.

Pieces of photos and papers on the bedroom floor were like pieces of her heart.

**********

She remembered the day she saw him for the first time. He seemed a dark, stormy cloud, covering everything around and bringing sadness. He couldn't talk to Yusuf like she would, he didn't know he scared the boy with his imperious attitude. He tried to scare her too but to be honest she was afraid of his strength and anger but not the rest. She liked his eyes, even when he was standing close and she could feel his anger, his eyes were still beautiful. Sometimes he would yell about her irresposibility but he seemed distracted. It took her a pretty long time to realize it was her whom he felt distracted by.

She discovered his mask and she was able to look under it. He tried to push her away but she found a very carrying and loving man underneath. He still scared her when he acted violently but she slowly learnt how to find a way to his hidden side. She objected his angry looks he gave her and challenged him. He gave up.

And then she found out one more thing and it felt even harder than fighting his stubborness. She fell for him and she didn't know what to do with that. She found herself helpless. Being shy by nature, she couldn't cope with the power of her emotions, him being kind and gentle made her melt. And then given no choice but to save Yusuf by all means, he proposed.

He thought for a moment that if a year ago someone told him he'd fall for a woman so hard, he'd take them for fools. Now he could only think about her. Her face, her words and her eyes full of tears were, they were haunting him.

Always sure to be armed with his hatred towards women, Yaman never expected this little girl to be capable of making such a change in his life. Not able to exclude her, not able to get rid of her, he allowed her make a first crack in his shell. Her big green eyes carved themsleves in his mind and at first he opposed by keeping the distance, later he couldn't even do that much.

He started to seek for an opportunity to stay close. Even if it meant yelling at her. The only thing that hurt him were her tears. He could make her angry, he could accuse her of lying which never succeeded, he could grab her hand or lock her in the car but her tears were his failure.

When she was kidnapped, he got crazy with fear. The minute he found her and she hugged him seeking comfort and safety, was the moment his shell broke big time. He felt relief, ease and this funny ticklish sensation somewhere inside. He felt a little bit taller and prouder.

He sensed that she started to feel different too. She instinctively started treating him with tenderness he saw when she was with Yusuf. This beauty timidly responded and shortened the distance between them without a warning.

Seher fell asleep in her clothes but couldn't find any rest. She opened her eyes, the clock on the wall was ticking gently. Two o'clock...... She worried about Yusuf, did he eat? Did he brush his teeth? She got up and went to the kitchen. Drank a glass of water and sat heavily by the table.

Thinking about everything was over her strength, she felt it was all over, before it even started. Regret and sadness fulfilled her broken heart. She went back to her bed and curled up into a ball of sorrow.

Seher didn't feel when the mattress moved under the weight. Still immersed in her sleep, she felt big arms surrounding her and holding close. She could smell the cologne and known touch when warm fingers held her hand. She tried to make herself even closer, to almost blend in the body behind her. She could feel his warm breath on her neck and hair, she could hear a murmur close to her ear.

- I love you....I always will.....

She sprang up on the bed catching her breath....

Yaman tried to sleep on the couch, mostly walked around. All night throwing himself from one end of the room to another.

- Stupid! - he messed up his hair and threw the jacket on the couch.

In the morning he heard a car outside the house. She came back. Yaman ran down the stairs.

She stood in front of him, straightened up, proud, all so beautiful. She tried to look cold and emotionless but inside she felt a fire storm. He slowly moved forward, she curled her fingers and hid her fists in folds of her skirt. He was like a wild cat observing his prey, a fascinating predator keeping his eyes on the target.

He came so close she had to lift her head high. She looked into his brown eyes and saw desperation.

-Please, don't go....- he whispered. - Don't leave us..... don't leave me....- he touched her sleeve and inhaled deeply. - I am sorry....

Seher sighed. She took off her coat and put it on the banister. She waited, though she felt enormous weight falling off her heart.

- I am sorry for believing that damn file - she could see his fists tightening. - I am sorry for not telling you the truth and for destroying everything you did for me. I know you can't forgive me...

Seher sighed again and looked at him carefully. He couldn't read anything from her face.

She slowly turned away from him as if walking to the kitchen...

- I love you - she heard. - I love my wife - his voice hoarsed.

She stopped and closed her eyes for a moment. Then turned her head back.

Yaman simply stood there and spread his hands helplessly.

- I need my wife....

Seher tilted her head and looked at him as if drowning in thoughts. The she walked towards him and put her arms around him, standing on her tiptoe.

- I know.....
