Thrifting

Ok so this is a tad different than normal im gonna do a melanie Martinez x reader so yup enjoy. Also this is gonna be on The shorter side.

No ones POV:

Y/n was currently walking to a small antique shop she had heard about from a friend. She often would go thrifting because she enjoyed looking at the vintage items that were mostly on sale plus it was better for the environment.

The antque shop was a cute building out side the Volo ato museum. She remember her dad takinger her there before he had gotten sick.

Smilling too her self she pulled the door open stepping in to the building. It seemed to be much bigger inside than what it appeared to be.

Y/n starter looking around, getting rather excited seeing old children toys, stuffed animals, and books. She tended to be a sucker for those items.

As she was looking through the shelves and corner with the toys she heard foot steps coming behind her.

"Cool aren't they?"

Y/n turned around and saw a beautiful women with half pink and black hair.

"Ah yeah, I really like the bear with the overalls."

The girl picked up the bear and handed it to Y/n.

"You should get it. I was looking at the doll with loose curls and pink bonnet."

"Oh good choice. Im not really  a doll fan though, I prefer cute stuffies."

She giggled and it made Y/n go redder than a ripened tomato.

They actually started up a conversation while looking at more items and Y/n learned her name was Melanie.

Y/n found a couple old horror movie posters while Melanie had found an old Polaroid camra.

After they payed for their items they walked out together.

"Hey Y/n I know of a cute 50s diner like place near here, maybe you could join me for lunch?."

"Oh my god yes! I mean ye sure that sounde fun."

"Ok well just follow me with your car to it. See you there"

'Dang what is the girl doing to me' Y/n thought as she jumped into her car.
