Me and my father were now standing on the hangman's platform. The drums, echoing through the air. Counting down our minutes alive. Our hands bound in front of us. The sun heating up my skin, as sweat dripped down my forehead.

The hangman stood in between us, as a man pulled out a scroll and began to speak.

"Jack Sparrow." He began

"Captain." Me and my father said at the same time.

"Captain Jack Sparrow." My father finished saying. He than read off my father's crimes. During that time, I noticed Will was walking around In the crowd. He looked up at me and I motioned my head to Elizabeth. Who was standing on a concrete platform with her father and the Commodore. He ran off and now it was my time to hear me crimes.

"Blair Sparrow. For crimes against the crown, Piracy and thieving. And for these crimes, you have both been sentenced to be on this day. Hung by the neck until dead. May god have mercy on your souls."

The drums began to get faster and a noose was placed around my fathers neck. My heart started pounding as the hangman walked over to the lever.

"No.no.no." I whispered. I looked at me father and he gave me a small smile. I did my best to look happy. But I couldn't. I didn't want to die, I didn't want to see my father die.

"Move!" I heard Will yell. I faced toward the crowd and saw him pushing past people, trying to get to the platform. The drums stopped and the lever was pulled.

"NO!" I yelled. My father was stopped, by something. I think it was a sword. Will ran up on the platform and cut me loose. He began to fight the hangman and he cut the rope. Causing my father to fall. I ripped the ropes of my hands and Will pushed the hangman off the crowd into soldiers. I front flipped off and as soon as I landed, My father threw me a rope. I grabbed ahold of it and we both began to run forward. Three soldiers ran up to us and we slacked lined them all. They all did a flip and landed on their backs. We continued to run forward and tripped two more guards as we ran up some stairs. I than ran forward and grabbed ahold of a soldiers gun and lifted it up into the air and than hit him in the face with it. My father ran behind a pillar and I followed suit. Two guards were trapped and we yanked the rope, making the two guards hit their heads onto the stone pillar. My father punched another guard and I kicked another in the gut. We both somersaulted and stood up. Will came to our side, holding a sword in his hand. We all ran behind another pillar and a group of soldiers surrounded us, all holding guns. I placed my hands up and my father placed his arm protectively in front of me.

"I thought we had to endure some matter of ill conceived escape attempt...but not from you." The commodore said to Will, while holding a pistol.

"On our return to port Royal. I granted you canvancy. And this is how you thank me. By throwing in your lot with them? Their pirates." The governer said disappointed and disgusted.

"And good people." Will said as he dropped his sword. Me father pointed at himself and I just smiled cheekily.

"If all I have achieved here is that hangman will earn three pairs of boots instead of two. So be it." Will said stern. I just looked at him shocked. Elizabeth smiled at him and looked over at the commodore. "At least my conscience will be clear."

"You forget your place, Turner." The commodore said angry and as he stepped toward us.

"It's right here. Between you and them."

Elizabeth rushed forward and clutched onto Will. "As is mine." She said.

The governors eyes lit up with fear. "Lower your weapons." Nobody moved. "For goodness' sake put them down!" He ordered. They all lowered their weapons and I took a sigh of relief.

"So this is where your heart truly lies than?" The commodore said heart broken.

She nodded her head. "It is." He just looked away and I heard the sound of a bird. I looked up and saw a parrot. I just looked at it confused and my father nudged my side and motioned to the ledge. I nodded my head, having no clue as to what he was planning. But i trust him, because his shenanigans always work out.

"Well, I'm actually feeling rather good about this." My father said as he ran up to the governor. "I think we've all arrived at a very special place. Spiritually, ecumenically, grammatically." He said right in his face, the governor making disgusted facing. Probably due to his horrible breath. He than walked up to the commodore.

"I want you to know. That I was rooting for you mate. Know that." He than backed away and came back to me side.

"Elizabeth." He said. She turned to him. "It would have never worked between us darling." I just laughed and walked up to Elizabeth.

"Goodbye." I smiled.

"Goodbye Blair."

"Also Will." He turned to me. "Nice hat." He just smiled, me and father ran to the ledge and jumped on top.

"Gents!" I yelled. They all took a step towards us.

"This is a day that you will always remember as the day you..." Jack began and than fell off the ledge. I just rolled my eyes and looked back at all the people.

"That you almost caught the Sparrows." I smirked and than jumped off to the water below. My father pulled me up to the surface and we saw a ship come into view.

"Sail Ho!" We heard someone from the ship call out.

"After you love." We both began swimming towards the ship, when we got closer I realized it was the pearl. A rope was thrown into the water. My father grabbed onto my waist and I wrapped my arms around his torso. He held onto the rope and we were suddenly launched from the water onto the boat. We landed next to each other.

"I thought you was to keep to the code?" Jack asked.

"We figured they were more actual guidelines...than actual rules." Gibbs replied. Gibbs helped my father up and than my father helped me up. His hat was handed to him and I saw a woman holding his coat. I walked over to her and she handed it to me.

"Thanks." I mouthed. I walked back to my father and placed the jacket over his shoulders.

"Captain Sparrow. The black pearl is yours." I smiled. I was so happy that he was finally Captain again. That I had some of my old life back. He walked away from me and grabbed the wheel. All the crew was watching him and than he looked up at all of us.

"On deck, you scabrous dogs! Hands to braces!" My father ordered and yelled out. "Let go and haul. To run free!" Everyone scattered away and I walked to my fathers side. He smiled at me and I smiled back.

"You shall be me second first mate." He shared with a proud look.

"Aye Captain." He turned back to face the open sea, it glistening from the sunlight.

"Now bring me that horizon." He muttered. He than began to hum softly and I knew what song he was singing. He than lifted up his compass and stared at it, knowing which direction to set sail.

"And really bad eggs." I sang. He moved the wheel a bit.

"Drink me up hearties. Yo-Ho." We sang at the same time and than he shut his compass.
