"God!! Whats wrong with this again!!" Somi checked her phone, trying to turn it on but to her bad luck, it just wouldn't.

"Now how am I gonna call them!! Ughhh"

She shouted from her room,"Lisaaaa come up with your phone"

Lisa came up quite immediately, gave her phone to her elder sister.

"Can you check what happened to this again? It won't switch on" somi looked sad

Lisa hummed and like a curious kid she looked at the phone.

While Somi called one of her colleagues.
"Hmm Joon? I won't be coming today! I have already finished all my work. Its on my desk. Check it if you need"
She talked fast.

"Hmm I see it here." answered Namjoon. He worked with Somi in Seoul Metropolitan Library.

"K thanks! See you tomorrow at work"

"Yea bye!"

She hung up the call and giggled.
"I couldn't fix it. Why don't you tell hobi oppa to do it for you?" Lisa mumbled still playing with the mobile

"How do you know I am going out with him?" Somi asked as a little smile lurked at the corners of her lips.

"You would only ditch work for one guy. So yea.. let him fix it" Lisa took her mobile from her sister's lap and left.
Just in a second she came back and said
"Have fun sisso"

And ran down.

"Soooo what do we wear?" Somi said.
Hoseok, his best friend for as long as her memory travels. They have been together since forever.
But lately, Hoseok was busy with his auditions. He wants to be a choreographer.
Today, he wanted to meet his best friend Somi.

No doubt both of them were excited to meet each other after weeks!

While Somi was busy selecting her outfit, Hoseok wanted to buy her something.

"Pendant or ring?" He asked Jimin. His dance buddy.

"Hmmm from my understanding...ring maybe?" Jimin shrugged.

"So ring it is then!!! Now come with me... I need you to choose it for me" hoseok jumped liked a happy kid.

"Why meee?" Jimin whined

"Dude you have had literally 6 girlfriends! You know better!"

"But is this about your girlfriend? Or are you going to propose her today?" Jimin asked... rather interested.

Hoseok gulped, tensed. He thought for a long minute.
"No. She is just my best friend. She is special in that way"

"Really? Then give her a pendant"

"Why? Why not a ring?"

"Nahh rings radiate romantic feelings..." Jimin sounded conflicted

"Fine then! Pendant final.. bye!"

"I am leaving mom!!" Somi said as she looked at her reflection in the mirror.

"Hmmm baby! Come back on time"

"Yeapp"

"Why isn't she picking up?" He whispered

"Who isn't huh?"
"Uh oh oh damn you scared me Somi!!!!!" He groaned

"Ahh Kang somi! You never change!"

"I am sorry..." she laughed
"I didn't know you still get scared like this.. I should have never stopped scaring you!"

"Why weren't you picking up the calls?"

"Yea it is not working! Fix it!" She handed him the phone..

"Lemme check! Wear this now" he gave her the gift

"Whats this?"

"See for yourself" he said while fixing the mobile.

She patiently opened the wrapping paper.

"You brought me a ring?????" She was smiling. The most beautiful smile.

"You like it?"

"Obviously Hoseok! I love you!"

"I love you too! Here I fixed it!"

Passing 'I love you' s was pretty common between them. Like most best friends.
But today Somi felt something else. Something she has been avoiding all her high school life.
She dodged this feeling everything. But not today. Seeing him after months, she was clearly very sensitive.
She gave her hand to Hoseok.
And luckily he held her small, soft hands.

"It looks good on your finger" he said

"Lets walk like this for today!" She flashed her smile.
And Hoseok nodded. He smiled.

"I like your outfit. Its so colourful!" Hoseok praised...

"Just the way you like it.."

And they walked forward. Giggling, joking hand in hand.
