I muttered a sorry before carrying his luggage up to his room.

"You can drop it off" here I said to the maid

"But it's heavy maam"

And I snatched the akwati(suitcase) only for me to fall on my butt. Lord Why don't I listen to people

"Allah shi Kara" (good for you) Adda tee laughed

mommy was ignoring my presence I think she didn't even see me she's busy gushing over something daddy said.

The maid helped me up, okay isn't it wierd that I don't know her name but she looks off

"Maybe if you don't stay locked up in your room all day"

Having dinner together is something we don't do in this family...infact I just sit on the floor most of the times while watching TV and eating with my hands, mommy scolds me while adda tee in her room doing only God knows what.

But daddy making us sit together at the table has to be something important.

I just want to continue watching miraculous tales of ladybug and cat noir, is that too much to ask??

I keep giving him wierd looks squinting my eyes, so I learnt it in one the countless shows I've been binge watching and it seems to work.
Besides you only live once and as I always say

Wait wait hold up, you're getting married it's like I didn't understand what she said but finally realization hit me with full force

"You know what that means?" I asked no one in particular

"I'm getting a niece"

*Muah* *muah* I kissed daddy and was about to go for my mums cheek but I realized she stood up from her seat .

I rushed over to adda tee dragging her upstairs.
But I came back forgetting something

"We're gonna catch up later alright, bye father who I so love for naming me humaira. "Love you" I shouted and ran back upstairs.

"that's my future hubby so you're gonna be seeing him alot" she chuckled

"And that was his brother and dad" she continued

Apparently my sisters in laws were coming over for I don't even know what and mommy just happened to bring them in when I was behaving like a 13 year old

"Why are you suddenly getting married I still remember me bugging you about getting married but I'm just finding out now?? " I asked changing the topic

"Sorry munchking" she teased

I grabbed a pillow and flung it straight to her face making her fall on my bed with a thud

"Pillow fight" we both whispered. Don't ask me why
We just did

Now back to business I panted already tired.

"What's the anko colour? " I asked enthusiastically not knowing that would be my last time I would smile like that for a very long time....
