The estate is looming over a vast British styled garden with tall iron gates at the front. It is south of England, the weather is still rainy with a bit of wind blowing. The whole scene seems unreal to Gregory, here he is sitting in a stranger car, and about to get questioned after witnessing his only friend in the whole world died. But, the only thing in Gregory mind clear enough to decipher is how the estate seems awfully lot like the one in Pride and Prejudice. Gregory never sees any property like that other than in classic English movies.

The house itself doesn’t look too well kept. There are no rumbles happening or moss growing on the wall. But the house looks exactly like the opposite of home. Cold air, chipped paint, quiet surrounding, the air around the house just added the mystery of it. Houses like this make Gregory despises England sometimes, every thing makes England looks more sentimental, added that sense of melancholy through the air. It no wonder the weather here always be gloomy and grey. A thing that clings to the past tends to do so.

Alexander relaxes with the sight of the house in front of him. For Gregory the estate may be nothing but some run down old house some royal bloke lived. But maybe, for Alexander it is every bit of home it could provide. Alexander pulls out his IPhone from the deck, his fingers move swiftly across the screen, typing something to it, In an instant the iron gate opens, making their entrance to the garden in front of them. Whatever in Alexander phone holds the key to this house. A sort of automatic app, maybe?. Gregory’s brain whirs in curiosity; it could be his key of getting the hell out of there when things rear his ugly heads.

There is no activity in the front part of the house when Alexander’s car parked in front of the gate. Now, the closer the car gets to the enormous mahogany front door, Gregory could see a man walks out of the house in a haste. Seeing this man, Alexander stops the car immediately, jostling them both on their seats. “

What the hell?” Gregory groans.

“Stay in the car and don’t get out unless I told you to”. Alexander responds as he opens the car door, leaving Gregory dumbfounded.

The man that walks out of the house couldn’t be a day more than forty, wearing a hunter get up, complete with willies and deer hunter hat. His face is shaved clean, a contrast with the grimy clothes he wears. The way this man walks out of the house is very suspicious, like he has done something very, very wrong.

Gregory bit his nails nervously, it is a habit he has picked up since elementary school and picks it up every time he is in a situation he doesn’t want to be in.

For a split second, Gregory inhibition makes him stay inside the car, but the way Alexander warned him earlier make him fidgeted. Making the decision in a second, Gregory leaps out of the car and slams the door shut. The noise startles Alexander and the man who are talking in a flurry. Alexander’s eyebrow shoots up to his hairline as the man moves past him.

What happens next, put Gregory completely put of guard. The second after he thought the man moves past him to leave, he could feel the man hands sneaking around his neck. Yeah, there is a knife exactly on Gregory’s neck. The second time his neck is on the line today, does this mysterious people all have some kind of neck fetish?. Surely there are all kind of other weak spots in human body other than the fucking neck isn’t it?.

“You should have stayed in the fucking car, you dumbfuck” the frustrated note in Alexander tone is clearly noted by Gregory.

“Couldn’t you for a minute not being a jerk and start explain why there is a man with a knife to my fucking neck?” asked Gregory.

The rumble behind Gregory, definitely belong to the hunter man indicates his impatience. This scary man can wait for Alexander long overdue explanation.
