"Morning class today we are learning about the war that went on between Japan and Taiwan in 1932 and lasted till 1939. Known as THE BATTLE OF TAIWAN", I said.

"Why are we learning about that? Were are in Korea?".

"Because we take part in that war too and it's in the education system".

"Wait who are the two men in the poster?".

"Ah, right these are actual soldiers. These two play a significant role in the war. Especially this young guy here. This is Chou Tzuyu he was a Taiwanese soldier. While this guy here is called Minatozaki Sana a Japanese soldier", I explained.

"Chou Tzuyu was born in 1915 June 14th in Taiwan Tapei he was an only child. As for Minatozaki Sana he was born in 1897 in Japan Osaka he had a sister called Minatozaki Mina who was 6 years younger than him. Born on March 24th 1903".

"Now the reason why I mention his sister is that she actually got into a romantic relationship with the Taiwanese soldier", I said.

"That's like 12 years age gap".

"It is but Minatozaki Sana dated a woman 15 years younger than him".

I went on to the next slide.

"Chou Tzuyu was 16 when joined the war. He lied about his age and it was convincing since was at a height of 188cm. He did it with his two best friends Yeh Shuhua and Song Yuqi. At the time he was in a relationship with a fellow classmate Chong-Ting Elkie. Unlike his best friends was transferred to Japan. He and his other soldier member arrived in Kobe".

"Death Alley", someone said.

"Yes, your right. A lot of fighting happened there. The Japanese believed the Taiwanese would never reach their land. Chou manage to handle several soldiers himself as his captain was shot. He was given the badge to be in control of his squad".

"Now back to Minatozaki Mina. She was 29 and a very famous ballerina. She was engaged to a Korean model Kim Taehyung. However, the Korean model fought he fight alongside Japan. That was a bad choice as he was fighting against the one and only Chou Tzuyu. Mina had run outside of her house since they were fighting there. She called out to Taehyung only for him to turn around and be shot in the head by the Taiwanese soldier. The backup Japanese soldiers were shooting recklessly and nearly killed Mina but the Taiwanese soldier saved her. And thats how the two met".

"So Chou Tzuyu killed her faincee?".

"Yes, he did but he didn't know that till she told him", I said.

"Now this here is Miantozaki Sana, Minas older brother".

"Minatozaki Sana was born in 1897 in Kobe he actually joined the first world and was lying about his age when he was 16. He had survived.  He had actually been married once but his wife of his cheated on him with his own boss. In 1932 when the war started when the war between Japan and Taiwan he went to Tain. There that when he met a Korean girl held captured by the Japanese. That girl is Park Jihyo some of you may have heard of her as she was a famous singer. in Korea. She was 19 and he was 35.  Since the two spent a lot of time together hs since h was protecting her they fell in love", I said and went onto the next slide.

"Whos this little girl?".

"At that their eldest daughter Jia. She was born on 5th May 1933.  In 1935 Jihyo gave birth to San then in 1940 she gave birth to twins and that was the last of them having kids".

"How many kids did Chou Tzuyu and his wife have?".

"They have 5 kids.

"Their edlest being yuki born in  Septemeber on the 29th 1933. Second son came in  September 2nd 1934. Had thier first daughter in 1935 on Agust 21st then had another son called Kazu in 1938 july 7th. Their last child was Lia born April 6th 1942. Aka my mother", I said.

The class sounded so shocked.

"Your thier grandkid?".

"I am adn thats why I knwo thier story very well. My uncle Yuki woudl tell me evyerhyting about them They were very much in love".
