I felt a slight nudge and my shut eyes
opened. I woke up to an unfamiliar
scenery. The truck hadn't stopped
tho. I touched the side of my face and
felt dried blood like cake plastered on
my face. My eyes were wide as an
ocean fear and worry written all over
it. The grass and tall trees kept
bending with the breeze as if telling
us goodbye I looked beside me and a
girl about my age looked terror
stricken completely worse than me
and I didn't think that was possible.
Her hair was crimson brown and
eyes a different shade of hazel.
Building up the courage I asked her
"are you alright"
But I doubt she heard me cause the
next thing that happened was worth
being quiet about. The truck stopped
And the soldiers started coming
down. I then realised I didn't hear
any name only numbers were being
called and I wondered if that I was
how many times they were to torture
us or something. The soldiers came to
the back of the truck and brought us
down. Everyone looked wide eyed at
the military based wide looking camp
in front of us. It looked like we were
preparing for a war. Only their was
no such thing active as of now.
"To the dining hall" one of the men
yelled. And in a single file they led us
towards an emerald looking building.
Its roof was cream and it seemed to
have 3 balcony in the front, the white
walls give off a cold feeling as we
entered. We walked into another
large space still standing in our file,
and heard a voice from above or
should I say upstairs.
"Pleased for you all to make it here safely I'm Margaret"
I looked up to see a woman with a
long scar on her face her cheeks
blotted red the kind of things that
usually happen to fat people. She
continued,
"I'm here to tell you the don't and
do of camp Scorpio" " You must participate actively, be fully agile, keep to yourself unless asked to speak and obey rules"
"You are not allowed to keep overly
long hair and to call each
other by your original name. Participating in all activities are not optional, you must participate cause they are all mandatory. You try to run away you die. And the most important rule you are forbidden to fall in love. Anyone caught breaking the last and most important rule would be killed on the spot"I turned to look behind me and that's
When I saw him. His face looked like
something the Gods had created But
that wasn't what kept me staring .
It was his eyes. He looked different
from the others but on his hand was
a dark print of something I couldn't
see clearly.
"We are here to turn you into weapons of mass destruction" her
voice cut my chain of thoughtsI looked back again and he wasn't
there. The soldiers led us back to the
dinning hall to eat. But I had already
lost my appetite.
All I could just see was blood, blood,
blood and more blood.
