"Come with us," says Yeonjun for the hundredth time

"Come with us," says Yeonjun for the hundredth time. "It's not a question, it's an order. Refuse, and I'm dragging you by your hair."

And (Y/N), for the hundredth time, draws a long, heavy exhale mixed with a grunt.
"I'm not so sure." Her forehead harshly collides with the lunch table.

Yeonjun hums in disapproval, delicately snatching the ensaymada bread from her hand.

"I'd rather catch up on my Netflix shows rather than get involved with your foolish horseplay,"

     "You're so boring."

She scoffs, watching him wipe the excess sugar stippling messily on his plump lips.
Two mere college students sat peacefully at lunch. It would have been peaceful if the older male hadn't been pestering her all day regarding his rash plans. In truth, she'd be willing to come if it weren't for her juggling an endless list of To Do's whilst riding a unicycle on a rope.

College . . . is too difficult, to say the least. It grabbed students by their necks and tossed them in a pit of misery with sharp, pointed rocks of depression on the sides and at the bottom that could pierce right through you and could leave damage for the rest of your entity.

Overreacting ?

They stand and discard their wrappers.
"What could go wrong ?"
Her tongue swipes from the roof of her mouth, echoing a loud click that bounced off the empty hallways' walls. She's not prepared for another pointless discussion.

The girl threatens, "Bribe me into one of your dumb ploys once more, or else wave your hand good-bye to the food I provide you."

"Ah~ . . . Such a killjoy," he moans, an incentive pout that quickly smacked him right on the face. "I'm encouraging you to have fun for once. A life so organized can be dull." there's zero argument to that. An unvaried living is dreary. Being labeled as normal may be one of the biggest insults you can tell a person.

Yeonjun continues, "and that's why the Gods above blessed you with my presence. To include you in exciting pleasures and make your existence worth the while. Yeah, you're welcome."

Wow. Why go to therapy when you have Choi Yeonjun.

"If it were anything, the Gods gave me a curse." She retorts. "So misfortunate of me."

Yeonjun took that personally and bent his knees against the back of hers, sending the girl forward with a surprised yelp.

"Oi!" Laughing, she waves her hand in dismissal. She gives him a bitter side-eye glance and folded her arms. "Okay, fine. But,

what's so fun with communicating with spirits?"

Spirits? That's what all this begging is about? Quite a lengthy tale, a not very pleasant one either. An old word that's been issued around the school for centuries. People would claim their schools to once be a graveyard, or rather, an asylum.
Millennium Collage; the name of the school Yeonjun and (Y/N) attended to.

It used to be a clinic—specifically, a military clinic where soldiers whom participated in the war came to their aid back in 1901. A place so discreet and a safe haven that was furtively tucked somewhere far from the opponent's reach—raided and bombed after an undercover soldier from their foe snuck in. Various souls remained troubled.

Blessed multiple times by priests, but still rumored to have lost souls lingering around campus and haunting dorms during the dead of night.

Much to (Y/N)'s relief, she lives in an apartment nearby.

Yeonjun slings his arm over her shoulder and purposely leaned all his weight on her. With a shit-eating grin, he spoke, "Imagine, princess. We get to witness it on tape and brag about it to our classmates. We'll be the first students who's ever done that and to prove those blasted rumors are true."

She tsks. "Yeah, imagine." She elbows him on the gut and proceeds to strut while groans of pain were heard in the background.

(Y/N)'s face accidentally crashes against a person's chest as her whole body took two screenshots upon feeling this person's hands land on her shoulders.

"Are you all right, noona?"

"Jesus, Taehyun !"

Taehyun gives her an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry I missed lunch with you and Yeonjun-hyung. Council meeting."

"It's fine, it's fine. I'm offended you left me with that idiot for so long though, I almost adapted his kind. I'm gonna go nuts if I stay by him too long." She mutters, pointing behind her. Taehyun's angelic laughter fills her ears, chuckling along with him. "Oh, by the way, are you going to join Junnie-ya tonight in his haunted White Day scheme? Blink twice if you're being forced to," as if he actually does.

"If I'm going to be honest, I don't care," he meekly shrugs. "of the circumstances and all of being caught. I'm just going to make sure hyung doesn't accidentally break a bone or slip and die."

"Kang Taehyun, we don't deserve a person so charming and loyal as you." His big doe eyes beam in a shape of a frown. He certainly had no need to be reminded. He pats her head in gratitude and as she parts her lips to speak, the bell chimes in and shook the whole school.

"We'll see you after school. Bye, Noona."
