Tommy's pov:
I still remember it very vividly, the night my mom left me, her son, alone with a mentally unstable father.
3rd pov:
It was late at night Tommy woke up to the sound of his parents fighting in the livingroom like most nights, but this time was different.
He was eavesdropping to their "conversation" when he heard it. "HE'S A MISTAKE" He heard his dad scream "HE RUINED OUR LIFE, HE SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN BORN!" He continued when a loud slap could be heard, his cheek now red from the impact.
"I'm leaving" She said with a monotone voice "I can't live here anymore, it's suffocating" And with that his mother grabed the keys off the counter, shutting the door behing her, leaving a broken son behind without even saying goodbye.
Tommy turned to the side of his bed, it was late at night and he couldn't sleep, and reviving that event in his mind didn't help at all.
He decided to scroll through his phone, then he saw the time "4:27" He opened discord and just read thorugh the unread messages he had, most of them being from the smp group. Some time had passed when someone started calling him, he read the name "ranboo" He was calling him and since he had nothing to do; obviously, he picked up.
"Hey man" Ranboo said in a very energetic voice. "Hello Ranboo" The younger boy responded, voice tired from being awake that late. "What are you doing awake at this time, shouldn't you be asleep?" The boy asked, worry in his voice.
"Couldn't sleep" He simlpy responded. "Nightmare?" Ranboo ansked to the blonde. "Yeaah..." "Want to talk about it, I'm good at listening" He offered. "I have plenty of time" He said again.
Why not? Tommy thought, "It's not like anything could happen."
"Sure, but you have to promise not to tell anyone" The other boy hummed as a response.
And that's how Tommy ended up telling Ranboo, a boy he met a few months ago how his mother left him without even saying goodbye. The older teenager was left dumbfounded at the expierence the boy he called a friend went through.
After some time of silence Tommy, feeling a bit tired decided to end call.
"Hey big man, I'm going to go to sleep now." Silence still crowded the call, until the younger boy spoke again "Thank you for listening. It was really relieving to finally share this with someone" And with that he hang up, leaving his
phone on the night table and drifting to sleep being the first night in a long time were he had an actual good night sleep.
Ranboo on the other hand was left speechless, but at the same time happy that Tommy told him something this big.
