Once upon a time, stood a kingdom named Solaria, ruled by the royal Asahi Family. The king and queen ruled the kingdom in harmony and were loved by all of its subjects.

One faithful day, the queen gave birth to Solaria's heir, a blue-haired boy that they named Hikaru, which meant 'shining'. A week after the prince was born, the king invited all of his citizens to the castle so that they could see with their very own eyes their future king. He even invited rulers from neighboring nations to the celebration.

The most honoured of these guests were King Hyperion and his two daughters, the princesses Selene and Eos. What made them so honourable was that they were, in fact, not humans at all. Instead, they were magical spirits that ruled a nearby enchanted forest. The king ordered that the forest be protected so that peace can be maintained between humans and spirits.

"It is at the up most pleasure to see you Hyperion, my friend!" the king said to the older spirit.

The spirit laughed. "It is good to see you too! Me and my daughters have got some very nice gifts for your son."

"Really?" the queen asked with excitement. "I cannot wait to see what you have for my little Hikaru!"

Hyperion smiled ear to ear. "We shall bestow them now! Girls, you shall be the first ones." he said to his  daughters.

"Alright! I will be the first!" Eos said. She walked to the baby prince's crib. "Prince Hikaru, you shall grow up to be a kind and generous prince who is willing to help those in need.". As she said those words, she sent a pink wisp at the baby, causing Hikaru to giggle as if he was being tickled.

After Eos had completed, it was Selene's turn to give her offering.

"For you, great prince, I shall bestow you with knowledge and wisdom that you will use to help the ones you hold dear." She casted a wisp of white at the little prince. Again, he giggled.

Selene then turned to her father. "Father, it is your turn now!"

Hyperion nodded and went to the crib. Before he could offer his gift however, a bright blue flame suddenly burst out of nowhere in the middle of the hall. It later took the form of a man with piercing turquoise eyes, fiery blue hair and four pairs of red glowing wings.

This was non other then Helios, Hyperion's violent and rogue son, who he had banished for harming humans.

"You dare not invite me to this special occasion, father?!" Helios snarled at Hyperion.

Selene stepped forward. "What do want now, brother? You've caused enough trouble to humans! You wouldn't want to do such things to a child, would you?"

"As long as I am alive, no human will be safe from me, after what they did to our mother!" Helios declared, striking fear into the hearts of everyone in the hall.

"Helios, that was all in the past! Just let go already!" Eos yelled at her brother. Helios only grimaced at his sister.

The flaring spirit then looked at the baby prince in the crib, who was staring at him curiously with his little lime-green eyes. Helios stared at him for a moment before smiling darkly.

"Well, since my sisters had bestowed their gifts to this child, it is about time I offer a gift of my own." he said with a malicious tone.

"He will indeed grow up to be a generous and wise prince. However, when the sun sets a day after his thirteenth birthday, he will pierce his finger on the tip of a blade and DIE!!!" Helios ended his curse with a deafening crescendo before disappearing in a wisp of blue flames.

At the loud noise, little Hikaru began to cry. His parents were beyond terrified. Was their child really destined to die at such a young age? Everyone in the room were silent, left in the dark, having no idea how to stop such a fate from happening.

Eos then broke the silence. "Your highnesses," she said to the human rulers. "Our father has not bestowed his gift yet."

The queen spoke worriedly to the spirit king, "Is there a way you can stop the curse?"

Hyperion looked at her with a sorrowful but hopeful look. "I cannot break the curse directly, but I can ease it."

He got closer to the crib and casted his spell. "Hikaru Asahi, you will not die when you touch the blade. Instead, you will only fall into a deep sleep. The only thing that can break my son's spell would be the tears of love." A wisp of red went into the crying baby, causing him to calm down.

"Thank you, my friend." the king said. He and his wife were now at a bit of ease, knowing that their son would still be in the land of the living.

Helios: Wait, so I'm the villain here?

Joanne: Yep!

Helios: Why can't it be Lucifer?! I would never do such a thing to my blader!

Joanne: Think of it like a play. You're just acting out your roll.

Joanne: Also cuz the author likes the idea of you being a villain.

Helios: (sighs) Fine....
