I wake up at 10 A.M. and get dressed in a hoodie and sweatpants and get my suitcase. Then I remember that I said I would call the group chat so Emma won't be lonely. I grab my phone out from my pocket. When I call she answers almost immediately. " Dang I've been WAITING" " Sorry I was getting ready." I say. " Now for the worse part, I have to tell my parents," " wait you haven't told them?!" she asks in shock. " Nope, I mean they wont care, at all except the part where I wont be here to do everything for them." " well yea but because of that will they make you stay home?" " Nope, they might even be happy because I won't be here to bother them." I say. " Ok, okay then" she says. "well I guess I have to go tell them and go to the train then go on a dang plane to Europe, I'm staying on a call with you though." I say to Emma to make sure she isn't like dying inside of loneliness.
" Mom, I have good-ish news for you." What is it, I don't have time for you." she says in a rude/busy tone like she always does towards me. " I'm leaving to Europe for a bit, it's for a school named Hogwarts." She looks at me in shock. " No you aren't." " Yes I am, I have tickets and I'm already packed." I say as I hold up my tickets. I turn around a go out the door and start walking. " Ugh I should have thought about walking with a suitcase to the train station." " Alayna, you have problems." " The sad part is is that I already knew this fact." Emma just laughs and starts going off on random subjects but can't stay on one because she has ADHD (Tbh its really funny).
I get to the train station and find my train. I finally bored the train and sit down, I felt weird knowing that I was the only one with a suitcase on the thing. I decide to put my headphones in so it is easier to hear Emma without disrupting anyone. Me and her were on a call for about 30 minutes before the train had stopped at my stop. " Hey Emma I have to go so I can go into the airport so I can be a witch." " UGH ok I guess but I'm going to try to make my parents let me, but call me when you can" she responds. I say " ok" and hang up the call. When I get off of the train I didn't know where to go next. I spent around 15 minutes looking for the entrance to the airport knowing I've never been in an airport before.
When I finally find the entrance, I go in and immediately get lost all over again. I go to a place where everyone is and wait in line. About 3 minutes later I'm in the front of the line. " Hi, I don't know where to go, I just got in here" I say to the worker. " That's ok, just take your shoes off and put all of your things that's not in your suitcase and load them in to the tub's" she responds. I do as she says and wait for instructions. She starts to look threw all of my stuff. "Ok your all good, now can you just step into the door way looking thing right here then you will be good." I step in and it doesn't do anything. " Ok, all good, now go and sit until it says your name of your flight is ready to go." she says. " Ok thank you for the help." she says no problem and then I go find an empty seat. When I sit down I go on my phone and go talk to Emma and other people to waste time until the flight. When I finally look up from my phone I look at the board " 12:20 Aug.31st Flight 23 ready to board." I look at my ticket nd realize that I am on flight 23. I get up and go to where a lot of people were standing in a line. When I am the one up at the desk, she asks me for my passport and ticket, I give her the stuff and go onto the plane. I see that the seats have numbers on them, so I find my number and go put my stuff away and sit down.
I was on my phone until the flight assistant came on the speaker and told us the instructions. When she stopped talking everyone stayed quiet except a family but they were only whispering. When they said that it was time for the plane to take off, that's when the nerves started kicking in. I was scared, I never have been on a plane before and I'm scared of heights. I started to regret my decision of going. It was for a good purpose..... right? I close my eyes and try to forget, everything, calm down, I say to myself trying to manifest it. I try not to feel the plane taking off, but it was hard, I couldn't forget. I get my headphones out and watch a movie. Eventually, I drift off to sleep. I sleep for about 5 hours then wake up abruptly. What happened? I ask my self and look around. nothing happened. I get enough courage to look out of the window, everything was fine, everything. I was confused. what just happened. I wasn't hurting. Was it nerves? Well there is no telling. I try to go to sleep. it worked after about 30 minutes. I go to sleep for the rest of the flight. I woke up to the flight attendant telling us that we were almost to our destination. I get all of the things that were out of their place back to where they were and try to wake up more so I don't fall asleep again. Now for the hard part of today, well, harder part of the day. Where am I going to stay. I don't know my way around here so where do I go, OH, I should call Hailey and meet up and find some where to go. Around 15 minuets after she said we were about to land, we landed. Oh god I thought. I get my things and go to the line to the doorway of the plane. When I get off and am aloud to use my phone I try to call Hailey, she doesn't answer. I text her and she answers almost immediately " I can't call right now but I cant text." she says " Ok, call when you can because we need to find each other and stay with each other so we know where to go because that's what besties do." " Ok, let's meet at a hotel, The Hotel Inn?" " Ok lets meet there then." I reply and that's the end of the conversation. I get into a Taxi and drive to a nearby hotel Inn. I tell Hailey that I am here and she said she was about to be. I wait about 5 minutes then I see a Taxi pull up. Then I see a tall, short brown haired get out of it with her stuff. " Good we were at the same one." I say with a smile and hug her. we go in and get checked in. we walk upstairs and go to our room. "Wow, this is actually kind of nice, never been in a nice hotel before." " I know same' she responds. we put our stuff down and she almost falls asleep immediately. I can't fall asleep because I slept on the plane trip. I just go on my phone and watch tiktok quietly. eventually I fall asleep for the night at about 12:30
