this is my opinion on canon and fanon ships. as i said, my OPINION. we have different ships, so i hope you will respect mine because i will respect yours as well.

I don't know how to feel about this ship. But it's quite likeable, two sunshines dating would sure make a cute couple. But i have never considered this ship before or now. I think Rengoku sees Mitsuri as a little sister or a student of him. Just a thought. Since Rengoku became Mitsuri's cultivator/mentor. You can read Kyojuro Rengoku Gaiden, it has a little spoilers on it but it's Rengoku's past - becoming a pillar. And yes, Rengoku became a pillar after Mitsuri survived the final selection.
