Flying pass the tops of leaves and greenery, a wooden mansion finally appeared over the non-existant horizon. She started lowering her pace, flying over the barbed-wired fence and made it to the front door of the house.

Grace prepared herself for anything that will happened, she pushed the doors open and escend into the dark creepy corridor.

"Rachel?", she called out the girls name. Keeping her footseps light and walking along the hallway.

She froze when she sensed a trio of shadows approaching her, along with march of footsteps.

"Rachel?"

When the light wassuddenly swched on, it wasn't the girl who appear on frame. It was a tall woman, but she wasn't normal. Her skin almost was melting off of her body.

"Get out", she yelled at her.

Grace took a few steps back but stood her ground. She turned to her left to find a mechanic robot, along side a mummy with sunglasses shielding his eyes. Like the woman, non of them were normal.

"Don't make me fight you, girl", he mummy warned her. "You don't wanna see what i really am".

That's when she had her hero stance, her fist started to luminate a violet glow. She aimed it at the mummy's neck, "Neither do you".

Before she released he powers, a loud scream filled itself into her ears. That's when it all clicked, "Rachel", she whispered to herself.

She placed her fist down, "Listen, i'm not here to harm any of you", she tried to reason with them. They gave her a confused look, "I'm here for a teenage girl, she's in danger. Rachel Roth".

The three of them exchanged relieved glances before turning back to her. "She's down there, in the basement", she pointed across the hallway.

"Thank you", she spoke before rushing off.

Upon dashing down the stairs, the teen's screams became more louder. When she entered the room, she ran to a platform with a metal railing, to her horror, Rachel was in some dome, infront of her was some demon portal that opened up. The teen was surrounded with smoking swirls that she can't somewhat control.

She jumped down and slowly approached the girl, "Rachel!", she called out, but her voice was unable to be heard through the gush of smoke. It was like some kind of a snow storm as suddenly a swirl of black smoke threw her to the side.

Grace looked up to find tentacle-like forms of black smoke charging at her. She quickly got herself up and tried to outrun the numbers of cautionaries. Using her beams to hold off the smoke but she could only get soo far. One of the tentacles grabbed a hold of her leg and smashed her against an examination table. She blasted it away and continued to fend them off, but when trying to force herself to fly, she couldn't focus it.

"Come on. Come on, fly", she muttered to herself.

Grace was cornered in the middle, blasting away the smoke. When she was able to hear a voice calling out for her over all the noise.

"Grace!"

She looked up to find Dick on the platform, grasping on the the railing before speeeding dow the steps.

"Get Rachel!", her voice cracked as she was still trying to beam off the smokes.

Dick was hesitant at first, but then rushed over to the teen and enter her bubble.

"Rachel!", he called out for her.

The teen only then realized him, "Dick, get out of here!", Rachel yelled at him, haven't realized that Grace was also present during that.

"No, Rachel. You have to stop this", he told the teen.

Grace's grunts caught their attention, causing them to turn around to fine her still battling with her inner demons. Suddenly all the smoke tentacles forged into one huge black beam, she blasted hers back but it was an unfair battle of light and dark. Unless Rachel stops it, she's going to meet her demise.

"Rachel-"

"Rachel-"

"Get her out of here", Rachel interrupted the man, glancing back at the brunette, fighting for her life.

Grace glanced back at Rachel, sending her a brave smile. The teen glanced back at Dick.

"No, i'm not going anywhere", Dick shook his head.

"I don't want to hurt you", Rachel cried.

"Listen, i was wrong. When i said no one can help you", he began. "At the church, when i said you're on your own. Okay, i was wrong. You're not on your own, you have me, Grace. We're here", he added. "We're not going anywhere, okay?". He looked at the girl and wrapped his arms around her, embracing her in a hug. "I'm- i'm not going anywhere. I'm right here".

Kory and the woman, ran into the room on the platform. The demon portal shut close as the smoke tentacles disintegrated, sending one last blow on her before disappearing.

Dick released Rachel from the hug and turned his attention to Grace, who was struggling to keep her balance. He ran over behind her, the girl was clutching her forehead before falling back into Dick's chest. She sunk down to the floor, Dick quickly wrapped his arms around her as her head rested in front of his shoulders. Beside him, he heard Kory rushing down the steps and Rachel approaching the pair.

"Oh my god", Rachel gasped upon seeing the girl. "Are you okay? Is she okay?".

Grace pried her eyes open, "I'm fine, i'm fine. Just a small head ache", she assured the group as she tried forcing herself up to stand up, she accidentally forced herself to much and floated up sightly. "Woah, that wasn't meant to happen", she chuckled as she landed on the ground.

The group gathered outside the wooded mansion around Dick's Porsche. Kory was stood leaning on the vehicle, waiting for the rest to come. Rachel soon joined her, followed by Grace and Dick. Behind them Gar or Garfield was the boy who helped Rachel and was the one from the roller rink, was talking to his so called family.

"So, we're ready to go?", Kory asked.

"Yeah, just waiting for someone", Dick cocked his head towards the green-haired teen who later joined them.

Kory and Rachel glanced at each other before gesturing for the boy to follow them. The brunette grinned at the sight of them getting along, not realizing that Dick was staring at her.

"Grace-", he tried to talk to her. She just walked away, pretending as if she couldn't and or didn't hear the man. Quickly walking to the passenger side of the car. Dick let out a tired sigh before getting into the vehicle himself.

Along the way, Dick and Grace, especially Grace. Was getting showered by questions, more or so by the green-haired teen. But no matter how annoying it was, she was still glad that it was him and it wasn't Dick talking.
