Dib and Y/n had just came back scrapped up, and soaked. All thanks to the mean girls who lived on the other side of the neighborhood.

Let's rewind.

You threw a water balloon at the tall leader's face while you ran with Dib into the woods. "LEAVE US ALONE!" He screamed while carrying his new 'friend', aka you. "DIB! RUN TO LADDER!" You pointed at the thick tree ahead of him. The girls continued throwing rocks and water balloons at the both of you while Dib struggled getting up the ladder steps.
Dib POV
We both made it up eventually and the girls had bugged off.
Y/N handed me a towel as she dried off her hair.
"Oh no! You got a boo boo.." (Name) stared worriedly at my scrapped ankle.
"...I'm fine-" (Name) slapped an alien bandaid on my ankle! "Space bandaids!" She smiled. I smiled back. "Thanks.....haveyouconsideredhelpingmesavetheworldand investigatetheparanormal-"
She stared at me confused. "I haven't even learned half the things you're saying but heck yeah!" I chuckled as she pulled out two boxes of apple juice.
No POV
(Name) handed Dib one of the boxes of apple juice as she sat down, lending her hand out to him. "Friends?"
Dib smirked at her. "Best friends."
