Marinette quickly got ready for the day, not knowing what to do today. Alya and Nino were out having a day for themselves, couple stuff. Adrien was probably busy being locked in his house all day, or hanging out with his soon-to-be bride. So that left Marinette. What would she do? She'll figure that out later.

The bluenette quickly went down stairs to where her parents quickly served customers. Since it was summer, the bakery was busier than ever; plus the fact that a certain super heroine advertised it a couple times. The owners of the bakery had no idea why, but they accepted it, and silently thanked Ladybug- as they would rarely ever see the busy superhero.

Marinette came from the back door of the bakery, where the actual kitchen was, and approached her parents, taking a croissant silently for breakfast.

"Morning Marinette," Sabine happily exclaimed as she received money from one of their customers.

"Morning, maman." The girl took a bite out of her croissant.

Sabine peered out the window that was at the front of the store. "Hmmm, Hawkmoth hasn't akumatized in a week,"

Tom put his hands on his wife's shoulders, "It's probably nothing. Let's be happy that a akumatized person hasn't destroyed our bakery for the millionth time." He nervously joked.

Sabine chuckled, "Hehe, yup! Good thing Ladybug always fixes it up. What would we do without her?"

Marinette chuckled at her parents. If only they knew.

Marinette spent the most of the day in her room, because well- she was grounded. Marinette could go pretty find without her phone, and spent most of her day working on outfit designs. Marinette went pretty well with being grounded, but she rarely got grounded. You would think she would with always pulling little lies, being late, and worrying the living daylight out of her parents. But, luckily-Marinette Dupain-Cheng has only got grounded three times in her whole entire life.

The first time was when she was about fourteen, her parents were upset with her with always being late, and I quote: 'Never being where she's supposed to be.'. Her dad said that. The second time was only for two days. After a long night of patrol she was really tired, and missed two class periods. The third time was well- this time. And she was doing just fine. Just fine..

Marinette groaned in annoyance. "Ughh! How did I handle being grounded when I was fourteen?!" The bluenette put her face in her hands.

"You had less things to do," Tikki stated. "But now you're the miraculous guardian and have to worry about college's." The kwami remarked once more.

"Yeah, but it's still so annoying-"

The girl was cut off by the knocking on her door.

"Marinette! Audrey Bourgeois would like to speak to you," Sabine opened the door, holding her daughters phone.

"Thanks, mom." Marinette grabbed the phone and put it up to her ear just after her mom closed the door.

"Hi.. miss Bourgeois," The bluenette greeted in a annoyed tone.

"Ah, Marinette! Listen, I would like to offer you once more to come to America with me. My contractors believe you have real talent! They saw some of your designs,"

Marinette opened her mouth to speak, but Audrey spoke again.

"They offer a free college scholarship, and about 3,500 for some of your designs."
