(There is some cursing in this )

The three friends waited patiently outside the movie theater for their other friends.

"Who's going to pay for snacks?"

"Adrien said he will-"

Almost as if it were on cue, Nino's phone buzzed. He picked up his phone and looked at his lock screen, it was a text from Adrien.

"Speaking of Adrien.." He muttered as he unlocked his phone to get to the text. The boy's eyes widened.

"What is it?" Alya asked, leaning closer to Nino trying to see the phone screen.

Nino looked up at the two girls. "Adrien is getting married..."

Their eyes widened.

"To Kagami."

Their eyes widened even more, if that was even possible.

"How is this even possible!? Adrien is.." Marinette chuckled nervously as she pulled at her hair, pacing around her room. "Adrien's only eight teen! Isn't that a little young for marriage?" The girl looked at her kwami for reassurance.

"I don't know, Marinette-" The red kwami was cut off by Trixx.

"If you ask me, Adriens family is weird. Mom missing, super strict dad, marriage at eighteen- seems like a cult to me."

"It's not a cult-"

"Is too! Gabriel and Adrien are always locked up in that little mansion of theirs. Not little, big. Big enough for a cult to live there!"

"Maybe I'm not the one overreacting." Marinette put her hands on her hips.

"I could be right you know," The kwami rolled her eyes.

Tikki looked her owner in the eyes. "Trust me Marinette, everything will be f-"

Marinette's door was burst open by Sabine (Marinette's mom). "Marinette! Did you hear? Adrien is getting married to your friend, Kagami!"

Marinette's shoulders slumped at the thought of it, as she rolled her eyes. "Yes mom, I heard. Woo-hoo...!"

Sabine gave her daughter a confused look as to why she wasn't happy for Adrien and Kagami, since she could her her daughters fake enthusiasm from a mile away; but she ignored it and continued. "Mhmm. Well, dinner will be ready in twenty. Your father and I are making pasta,"

"Okay, thanks maman. Love you" The bluenette replied as her mom closed the door.

"Marinette?" Marinette heard her a very familiar voice behind her.

"Yeah, Tikki?" The bluenette turned around to her kwami friend.

"Why are you so worried about Adrien?" Tikki inquired.

"It's not Adrien I'm worried about..." Marinette muttered sadly. Tikki was Marinette's bestfriend, but Marinette didn't think Tikki would understand the concept of girls liking girls. I mean, of course Tikki wouldn't! Tikki hadn't had a owner for like, a thousand years! And LGBTQIA+ was most definitely not allowed back in those times.

"I think I just need to calm down."

"What about your dinner?"

"It's fine, I'll be back before my parents even knew I was gone."
