Jungkook's face turned purple and Jimin began to worry, he was getting the impression Taehyung is making fun of the boy bullying him a bit, so his heart ached.
"My car is definitely way better than yours," Jungkook suddenly smiled leading them to the car park and that tiny Toyota.
"That is your car, man! I'm impressed, can't wait to see you driving it," Taehyung winked to Jimin who started to feel more and more out of place.
"Be my guest," Jungkook opened the front door, lifted the seat then looked straight at Taehyung. "Squeeze in."
"Me? Jimin has the perfect size to fit on the backseat," groaned Taehyung.
"My car my rules, you're either taking that place or walking to the bus," said Jungkook raising his brow.
Taehyung mumbled something indecipherable crawling on the backseat and Jungkook gave him all of Jimin's gifts to hold before pulling the front seat back.
"Be my honorary guest," he said sending Jimin a smile then walking around the car and the boy needed a second to calm down his rushed heartbeat, as that act of Jungkook to protect him from the whole world was so Mr. Jeon like.
Did he even deserve any of those men to cherish him so deeply, when he was betraying both of them.
"Jimin are you coming or staying?" Asked Taehyung bringing him back to here and now, so he jumped on the passenger's seat listening to Jungkook and Taehyung bickering the whole ride about Jungkook's driving.
"Fell like at home," Taehyung grinned leading them into a posh apartment located in a penthouse above the rooftops of the city, the view from up here so magnificent Jimin walked to the window wall staring when loud barking distracted him.
"Hi, who are you?" Jimin knelt to pat that extremely cute and fluffy dog which ran his way.
"Don't let Tannie bother you, he mostly wants snacks," Taehyung laughed walking out of the main room when Jungkook placed Jimin's trophy, diploma and the bouquet on the coffee table.
Jimin was playing with the dog rather than giving attention to that sexy man who was making him all weird, messing up his heart and mind completely.
"Jimin, congratulations again!" Taehyung came into the room carrying a big cake with a sugar statue of the dancing Jimin on top of it.
Tannie ran to him wiggling his tail."That's not for you," Taehyung shook his head. "Jungkook make yourself useful and grab some plates, forks and napkins from the kitchen."
Jungkook sighed walking towards the corridor.
"Which way is the kitchen?" He asked.
Taehyung shook his head amused pointing a direction so Jungkook hurried that way.
"You know my house my rules!" Commented Taehyung so loudly, Jungkook has definitely heard him.
"Why are you giving him such a hard time? I have told Mr. Jeon about that thing between me and Jungkook, whatever it is and he is surprisingly accepting. So please don't think I'm lying to your best friend," said Jimin looking at Taehyung seriously.
Taehyung sighed his hands began to shiver and he had difficulties to cut the cake properly.
"Taehyung please, don't hate me for what Jungkook makes me feel, I can't control it, but I'm assuring you I will not touch or kiss him before clearing the thing with me and Mr. Jeo..." Jimin stopped talking feeling all blood freezing in his veins as Jungkook fell into the room with the forks, plates and napkins.
Their eyes met but Jungkook just walked to the coffee table giving it all to Taehyung.
"I think I should go home, my parents definitely want me home," stuttered Jimin.
"Thank you for supporting me and for the cake.""Jimin!" Taehyung raised his voice. "Tannie needs his favorite snacks, I will go to the store a few blocks from here and bring them. Please help yourself to the cake, both of you," he emphasized the last words before walking to the corridor, Tannie following him immediately.
Jimin was watching him dressing up and leaving the house. The door banged, Tannie began to scratch at it begging for his owner to return as he was all alone here now with two total strangers.
"Do you want the part of the cake with your statue?" Asked Jungkook.
"No... I'm not in the mood for cake," whispered Jimin sitting down on the long cream colored couch.
"Jimin what happened? You can speak to me," Jungkook walked to him to kneel in front of him and take his hands into his big warm palms.
Jimin just sniffed feeling first tears rolling down his cheeks.
"Jimin, please don't cry. You've just won the competition. Why are you sad?" Begged Jungkook caressing over his cheek but Jimin stopped his palm.
"Jungkook you should hate me."
"Why?"
"And you will really hate me when you find out. Please don't pretend that you haven't heard what I have said to Taehyung."
"You have been telling him something about your cousin, but I don't really understand."
"He's not my cousin Jungkook!" Jimin cried louder.
"Who is he then?" Jungkook avoided his eyes.
"It's complicated."
"It's always the same answer for anything," Jungkook laughed in a bitter way.
"No... it's... you don't understand... he is my... lover... my secret lover," whispered Jimin almost noiselessly.
Thank you so much for your love. Did you like the chapter? What do you think about Jikook's time with Tae? How will Jungkook react to Jimin's words?
