In a brisk flash Tom woke up, an ache like feeling sending him into a sitting position.
He was in more pain than he had ever been – he could tell by the head splitting headache and the jittery feeling through out his person. The world around him seemed to spin, he could only bring his large red wings towards him as protection.
This made him realise that all of his Amory was removed. With the slight brush of his wings against his skin he realised every single thing he brought with him; talisman, Shield, Sword, every single bit of his equipment was gone. This sent him into a sort of shock, shaking his head in a way to clear his vision.. this didn't work too well however as the headache pounded at his skull at every shake he powered through.
Similar to a frightened bird he was now flapping his demonic wings and clasping for the closest wall, bringing himself toward a metal bar like the one's you'd see in a jailcell.
He didn't question this, he didn't even think to let out a word – his voice was dead since childhood – binded, released.
He never had a voice to start with.
It was all jittery sounds of feathers and the clicking noice of skin against metal untill a voice broke into his panic, his wings stretched out against the bars in front of him."Morning, sunshine." The person on the other side greeted him, his voice getting partially louder as they approached. Soft spoken, elegant – although suspicious, he didn't bother to question it, opening his shaken eyes to scan as much as he could.
The room seemed to spin as he took small focused glances around, yet the only physical thing he could stay focused on was the boy kneeled down in a tattered dress shirt, torn a tad to fit his large rose quartz wings through.
All he could do was stare, his iris feeling burnt by just looking at the boy."Mindgrain spell, should wear off in a few" The teen mentioned before sliding a pencil and paper through one of the gaps through the jail bars. He watched it tap the floor beside him before bringing his vision toward the boy again, quite eager to figure out what they wanted.
"What's your name?" The boy again, drawing him back towards the paper.
They wanted his name? Why?
He bet that they where using it for evidence, for proof that he was alive and stuck in heaven, proof that he failed his mission. It took him a long minute before he gave in, wobbly writing his name on the paper before passing the pace through to him again.
"Tomathy?" His heart lurched at just the sound of his name, and in this moment he brought his wings closer to himself not out of terror but of realisation that this could have been okay.
"I'm Tobias.. or Tubbo, depends on you to be fair." Finally his vision started to clear up – his head hurt less and with this he finally noticed his environment
He really was in prison cell, chipped poorly made beams keeping him inside.
Though his vision had recovered he still clung to the cell front, his charred hands gripping for what seemed to be dear life.As much as he wished he could speak the boy continued, filling the once silent room with colour.
"My kin.. sort of want to keep you here tenfold. As much as I've tried to convince them otherwise they've said no. It makes me wonder why Demon's are all so bad in the first place" Tobias rambled for a moment, his pinky feathers blowing in the nonexistent wind.If he could he would have cut through his ramble to name every single sin Demons have commited once in the past.. but he couldn't, he just listened.
Their voice was remarkable, better than any voice he's heard before. Smooth, calming, if he could sit here forever to just listen to his voice he would, though he doubted that was possible."Are... you alright?" A hand cut through his fantasy like scissors on a sketchbook, catching his attention once again.
"You.. really are something" Tobias again, bringing his delicate bandaged hands a slight bit into the cage as though to touch him – instead Tomathy watched the hand hover past the bars, giving a moment's hesitation before taking one of his hands out of their grip to intertwine with his.His glance wandered from their hands to the boy's sudden starry eyed expression, and he couldn't help but let out a joyful half-smile as they brought their grip closer to himself to examine.
He already knew this experience was going to be interesting; the joy of Tobais, the jittery way he woke, the new friendship he must have just formed.
Before he could make any other sort of move a wooden gate slammed in what seemed to be not so far away, a voice wailing out in a language he couldn't comprehend. This only sent him into another flurry of distress as he let go of the metal bars and pressed himself against the brick walls of the cell he was encased in, the boy however let go of their hold, took a look at the darkness further off, looked back with a look of distress, and launched into the darkness with a flap of his mighty white wings.
He was all alone with his thoughts again, pencil and paper calling out at him as a mean of entertainment.
In his long wait for his guardian to return he sketched all over the once clean sheet of paper; stickmen ran across the bottom of the page, smiley faces filled up the back, and a long line of tallies filled up the rest, counting the time that seemed like hours he waited for before drifting off into sleep.— —
"Tommy.." he heard fade into his sleepy bliss, a shift of brightness in his vision before he made an effort of trying to smack away the shaft of light in his face... of course this didn't work because it's light, but at least this got him to wake up, his morning tunnel vision giving a pretty glow to the boy in the sun glow.
He couldn't help but admire this before rubbing his eyes, lifting himself up from the floor to look the boy in the eyes again.Out of anything he could have expected Tobias pressed himself against the bars as he reached his hand into the cell in an attempt to grab for his hand.
Tom shuffled toward the bars and clasped his hand to his again, letting Tubbo take it once again out of the bars.As the boy admired the appearance of his fingers he started to speak quietly, showing stress in his commentary.
"Tomathy, you need to get out of here buddy, you need to get out of here around now before my kin kill you"The urgency of the discussion sent his sences into wack, his wings stretching out against the bars as he listened.
"But, but but but, It's all going to be okay. I'm gonna be the one to get you out of here"
