"Truth or dare?" The peppy 21 year old girl asked Amelia, a smirk plastered across her face. Everyone knew no matter what they dared her, she'd do it with confidence so they tried to push her as hard as they could; they tried to make her crack under the pressure and lose.

"Dare" Amelia smirked in response, an answer they all knew she'd say. The girl whom was asking her glanced around the library before spotting the blonde across the way, thus inspiring her dare. "I dare you to go over there and ask lesbian Robbins on a date" The girl laughed along with the rest of their friend group which was there. After thinking to herself for a moment, Amelia finally muttered "Fine."

She stood up and walked over to the shelf, glancing nervously at a book which was right beside the blonde. Amelia felt bad but didn't want her reputation to be tarnished, so she tapped Arizona's shoulder softly while holding a book which was titled, 'Neurosurgery in Paediatrics'.

"Hm? Oh, hi Dr. Shepherd!" Arizona spun around on her heels and smiled at the sight of Amelia in front of her. "Could you help me study later? I've heard you liked Peds and I'm trying to figure out how their brains work and how tumours form and- Sorry, I'm rambling a bit amn't I?" Amelia chuckled nervously and scratched the back of her head.

"Sure, what time?" Arizona asked and Amelia smiled brightly in response. "How about 3pm tomorrow at Taylor's cafe? And maybe we could go out for food afterwards...?" Amelia blushed lightly, only now realising how bad she was at asking someone out on a date; even for a dare. "Oh" Arizona laughed a bit and nodded, understanding what Amelia meant now.

"So were you actually interested in the studying or was it just a ploy to ask me on a date?" Arizona asked, causing Amelia to blush a far darker shade of pink. "Errr..." Amelia thought for a moment before deciding to respond, "Well it was both, I still need help studying too." She mumbled. "Taylor's at 3 then" Arizona confirmed, smiling before she walked over to another section of the library.

Amelia giggled to herself before running back to the group, confirming that she asked Arizona out and they're meeting at 2 tomorrow. Everyone cheered quietly, as to not notify anyone that they weren't actually studying and they were just messing around. "Good job 'Melia" Another one of her classmates congratulated her, giving her a proud high five.

They continued their game once again, allowing Amelia to give out a dare. Despite her being good at completing dares, the ones she handed out weren't that interesting to say the least. "I dare you to steal that book!" She said and everyone laughed at her simple dares, all feeling a slight bit of second hand embarrassment for her.

"We're going to the diamond club bar after our shift, who's coming?" A classmate announced and nearly everyone said they were going, including Amelia. This was an everyday thing for Amelia now, go out with her classmates and drink all her worries away, sometimes even adding drugs into the mix. Amelia told herself she wouldn't be that girl but things just didn't work out that way, as her cravings were so strong they were hard to manage.

Meanwhile, Arizona was unsure if Amelia was actually genuine but she hoped that she was. Amelia was known for toying around with peoples' feelings and accepting any dare that was thrown her way but Arizona hoped that wasn't what this sudden study session and date was about.

She sat alone at a computer on the opposite side of the library from where Amelia and her friends were situated. She researched about brain tumours, spinal cord injuries and just overall neurological disorders in children; even though she already knew most of the answers, she wanted to make sure she was 100% sure beforehand. Arizona did claim to be a paediatrics expert after all.

Amelia seemed quite heartless and stoic at times but Arizona felt as though she could see past that. Maybe it was her imagination but she thought that deep inside, Amelia was hurting. She wasn't sure what brought her to that assumption but she felt that it was right. Amelia seemed to go to the bar and drink every night with friends or alone and once Arizona knocked over Amelia and had to help her pick up her belongs, along with what was a sketchy pill bottle with '5mg oxy' scribbled on with black marker.
