Y/n's perspective

"You want me to do what?!"

"Don't worry, I'll send you instructions. Please Y/n, just this once."

Aejung requested you to be her assistant for a week or two and even told her boss to know that you'll be her assistant for a week or two. It means you'll have to interrogate a criminal and send her the things online cause she has to go to another country to do another assignment her one hell of a boss assigned her to do. You could have turned it down, but you couldn't say no to her puppy eyes and she was desperate for her promotion. You'd do anything to make your one and only bff happy, and that was your mistake.

Once you helped her pack her luggage, you grabbed your necessities and her notebooks and drove yourself to the police station from Aejung's apartment.

On your way to your destination, your inner demon was scaring you about what worse things might happen to you since you always seem to get into rough situations and no matter how much you didn't want to get in one, the more life got you in those shitty situations. You wanted to stop the car and go home. You didn't have the guts to even look at the police station but you didn't have any choice anymore. You felt extremely scared since it was your first time seeing a criminal and unsure of what you'll ask the criminal. Right then, you heard your notification ring going off. You pulled your phone out of your bag and saw Aejung sent you the criminal's profile whom you're going to meet and some questions you're going to ask. The profile had no picture of the criminal's face but his name, age, arrest records and crimes. Your eyes skimmed through the profile. His crimes were destruction of several properties, which you thought were dumb like why tf would someone destroy someone's properties. You sighed, having no idea that you were going to fall in love with this man.

When you arrived at the police station you took a deep breath and tried to prepare yourself mentally. At the front desk, you gave your name and reason for your visit, as well as introduced yourself as Crime Reporter Aejung's assistant. The lady officer gave you a weird look and said they had to double-check your request. You waited for quite a while before another male officer had you follow them to one of the interrogation rooms.

"I don't even know why he agreed to see you. He doesn't talk to anyone."

"He doesn't?..." You asked as your little confidence flew away.

"Nope, I hope it goes well for you, beautiful." You blushed and stayed quiet.

They opened the door and let you walk in. The room was dark, illuminated by one light in the middle of the room. The atmosphere around you was sending shivers. You were trying your best not to freak out and escape from this place.

A metal table in the centre, two chairs, only one of them was empty. The criminal in question was already seated, hands cuffed and chained to the table.

He was staring at you intensely with his alluring and piercing dark brown eyes, not blinking his eyes as if he could see your heart beating like crazy. You were mesmerized by his eyes, handsome face and long silky hair down to his shoulder. You started to observe him not leaving any details. You were gazing at his silky black hair was covering his forehead, then at his masculine yet charming eyebrows and his sparkling dark eyes which were driving you crazy. Your eyes grazed over his angelic nose and oh how badly you wanted to peck the tip of it, and when your eyes went over his tempting lips. You wanted to kiss that pink forbidden fruit aka his beautiful plump lips.
