Y/n's perspective

Once you came back, you went to your study room where you work as luna went to sleep. Afterwards, you finished your assigned work, you wondered what to do.

'Should I paint?'

You were about to pull out a medium circle canvas from a shelf a few steps away from you but a doorbell interrupted. 'Jinki? But at this time? Who could it be at this time?'

You opened the door, revealing a couple of unknown yet handsome faced officers.

"Hello, I'm detective Jeon, and this is my partner, detective Han. May we come in?"

"Um, okay."

You said scratching your neck and kinda scared. You were freaking out cause you didn't know why they were here and what you did wrong.

"Uhh...Why are you here? What do you want?"

"We would like your assistance."

"Me? What can I do for you?"

"You're the only person who Taemin has spoken to, twice now. That's impressive."

"It's really not..."

"Have you seen the news recently?"

"No..."

"Well, the police released an official statement in regards to the death of the antique shop owner. The cause of death for the shop owner was asphyxiation, and Lee Taemin is not the killer. You got the information from Taemin and did the research, only to hand it to the reporter."

Officer Jeon blabbered as you didn't understand anything that he was saying.

You sighed and asked, "You said you wanted my help?"

"As I said before, you're the only person Taemin has talked to, in fact, you're the only person he seems interested in speaking with."

"Hm."

"Since Taemin isn't the murderer, it means we still have a killer to catch. He is the only witness to the crime and he refuses to speak to us. We need you to talk to him."

"You want me to get information out of him? You're the detectives here, not me. Investigating murder is your job. Taemin broke into the shop with his servants, so get a search warrant for his house and go from there."

"You are aware that very little information is known about Taemin. We couldn't find any of his property, residence. After the trial, he will be released and disappear."

"Oh...but that's still your problem. I promised him not to bother him again. Especially not over something like this."

"There is a murderer out there and you can help us catch them."

"No, Taemin can, but if he doesn't want to talk to you, then do some work and try to find the killer yourselves."

"If you don't want to talk to him, we won't move from here." He said as he sat on the floor and pouted like a baby.

"That's so childish, officer Jeon."

"Then come with us and help us, please."

He used his deadly weapon which is his puppy eyes as your heart started to ache. You tore your gaze away from the adorable officer.
